Looking through his tweet history its the only rumour hes retweeted.

And then pretty much pooh-poohed it by suggesting he's one of the best transfer-getters in the business. I read that as him talking about Gaitan (i.e. he's linked with someone at EVERY window) as opposed to him referring in glowing terms to Duncan Castles

I am very surprised we were not interested. Very quick and you would think would fit the managers model - surely Liverpool would have preferred a loan to a premiership club. If we lose Deeney or Okaka think he would have been ideal replacement

 

Nothing on Skysports today yet about any of our players being linked with moves away. Only that Pantillimon, Success and Sinclair would 'possibly' be going out / loaned out.

 

Certainly no talk at all of Deeney, not sure which clubs would be after him at the moment?

Dragovic, Zeegelaar and Karnezis are exactly what we need. Gaitan would be the equivalent of our attempts to sign Boufal last year. Don't need, but a quality player.

Cost them £6m for A LOAN. I’m not at all surprised we were not interested.

It does but if includes wages maybe right. We pay Deeney 5.2m a year!

 

Dragovic is the one I really want out of what’s been mentioned so far. Don’t think the Gaitan thing is likely but if Success goes, then we suddenly look light on LM/LW. Richarlison has started amazingly but if I were in charge, not sure I’d want him as my only option and expecting 45/50 games out of him in his debut season.

Gaitan would be insane. It won't happen but I would love it.

We're one injury away from Amrabat starting every game again so I do feel we need another wide player, especially if Success is going.

Based on our ability in the cup I'd argue 40 games max. But yes I do agree with your point if Success goes.

 

If we sign all these players we are now linked with or are "in talks with" we are going to need a top tier adding to the SEJ for them all to sit in.
