how bad is it for the liver?

    how bad is binge drinking?

also found this, which helps me;D

Persons aged 16 and over can drink beer, cider, perry or wine in a restaurant or in a pub if accompanied by an over-18 (however, the over-18 must buy the alcohol in any circumstance).

i get away with looking 16 in most cases, and always with a over 18 ;D;)

Drinking to excess is very bad for the liver and heart. It also causes circulation problems. Drinking in moderation is actually beneficial A glass of wine a day is actually good for you. Alcohol triggers the bodies natural warminig mechnism of opening the capilaries closeer to the surface of the skin increasing blood flow. It is my theory (I'm only an amateur scientist) that this helps prevent male pattern baldness by improving blood circulation to the folicles (have you ever seen a bald alcoholic?)

What you can drink safely depends on an individual's body and metabolism. Underage drinking can seriously damage the development of your organs and it kills brain cells.

I used to have an IQ of 307;D

Giving you a serious response for once:

At your age the body isn't developed enough to handle it and i can't imagine it's doing you much good. You don't adapt a taste for alcohol until you sort of hit 15(at the earliest) or 16 and there's little point drinking at your age if you are just doing it for the sake of it or trying to fit in.
Nobody would think any less of you if you didn't drink on a matchday.

i wouldnt exactly call that binge drinking !! ask faith she'll be able to tell you about the effects of binge drinking.

I would have been able to tell you myself a few years ago , but i'm so used to it now that i call it normal drinking ...lol

you're barely drinking anything. It is that easy to stop, unless you're reveling in being the 13 who has a drink.

Exactly, not as if you're missing out on much.

    Ohhh please.

Exactly, if you are doing it to look big as the 13yr old who drinks then it's pointless and won't be hard to stop.

Yer, but at partys/away wins 2/3 might not be enough;D ;D Just don't at home games then you can have 1/2 more at away games and still be drinking less, if your really that worried stop, won't be that hard, just leave for games later so you dont have to hang around as much, meet mates at the ground

you could do half,s or lager tops or lager shandy, or keep to bottles, just pace yourself.:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

if you want to stop, next time you're in the pub look at the over-weight men with crap jobs, crap girlfriends and live in sqaulor with their parents. Although you are by no means drinking alot, for a 13 year old, its pretty wrong.

Yea good idea there Arfur. If you really want a drink they why not get a lager shandy? Agree with Chewitt above, I never got a taste for any of it til I passed 16 really. Now it's all cheap French beer, vodka and whisky before my liver packs in next year ;D

no rush james, if you dont feel at ease with it, there is plenty of time for pubs and bars later in life... around 15 16 or perhaps 17;)

ok, i dont advocate teenage drinking, but i think its kind of a right of passage.. especially in the UK. The whole thing about being a teenager is pushing boundaries and seeing what you can get away with. It is an essential part of growing up. Unfortunately, due to the fact that our culture is unlike that in the rest of Eurpoe where drinking is an integral part of family meal times, when kids in the UK get out and about, they go nuts. I did it, and it was fun. I learned a lot, and actually gave up drinking for 3 years from the age of 19 cos i was bored of it and got pretty sick one time. I think binge drinking is bad for anyone, but we all do it. I also think that once in a while is fine. If its all the time, its a problem. There, thats my opinion!
