It makes no sense at this stage of the window. Earlier on yes, but at this late stage we won’t be able to replace him and JWP would be a downgrade.
I used to find his extra long cardigans quite endearing , but now he’s turned out to be sh1te I find them extremely annoying.
Ward Prowse seems to me like a player you always know what you are going to get, like Cleverly, I agree Ward Prowse isn't as good as Bobby P, but sitting on the bench after 60 minutes or out injured isn't very productive, Gino and Scott are very shrewd operators, they know what's what, we have to trust them!
I would be disapointed if we sold Pereyra, genuinely having wet dreams about the idea of having a frontline of Pereyra, Alcacer and Deulofeu. But having said tbat I am not convinved that Bobby Pereyra will stay fit.
If my trust in their performance in this transfer window was a tank of petrol, the fuel light has just come on.
My tank is leaking petrol through two gaping holes, specifically one at the back and another up front.
Torino will only go after Pereyra if they can offload Daniele Baselli first. https://www.football-italia.net/125881/report-toro-go-pereyra Torino will reportedly go for Watford midfielder Roberto Pereyra - but only if they sell Daniele Baselli. According to CalcioNews24, Torino have targeted Pereyra as the man to bolster their midfield. The Argentine is no stranger to Serie A, having previously played for Udinese and Juventus, while also working under Granata boss Walter Mazzarri at Watford. However, the website warns that a deal can only happen if Baselli moves on, given the Hornets want ‘around €20m’ for the 27-year-old, who has been limited to just 45 appearances in the Premier League due to injuries. Baselli has been linked with Milan, who are similarly keen to strengthen in the middle of the park, although they appear close to signing Chelsea’s Tiemoue Bakayoko instead.
Problem is there window shuts later than ours so they can come back in at any point in the next couple of weeks
Selling at any price would be bad business with out current squad! You're right though, worth £30 million+.
Can we prepare ourselves for inevitable reports from the less decent sites that a deal for Preyra is on. I fully expect the Mirror to wind us up, and for HITC etc. to reproduce it. But please hang onto your socks, unless it's a reputable site and it doesn't start "it has been reported", or similar.
Calm words, but are you saying that it’s not just our knickers at threat but our socks too? It’s all too much. Who will get the goals if Bobby P leaves? We’ll be relegated before Christmas, nobody will want to manage us then and Gino will drop us like the stinking turd that we are. Oh no, I can feel a damp patch developing already. Too late.
