Anya is not a striker he was only playing upfront because of Forestieris injury and Ranegie was unavailable. Therefore your point is irrelevant. I would argue that a fast forward would be very beneficial to our side as it would mean that the opposition would be wary about pushing high up the pitch and limiting the space, opposition have done this to us a number of times this season and it makes it difficult for us to play football on the floor and keep possession. I would also argue that one of the major differences between our away record last season compared to this season is because we do not have a speedy striker that is really effective on the break.

We tried to sign a pacey striker in January

Unfortunately there was a misunderstanding when Beppe asked Nani for a nippy forward and now we are stuck with Park

Was actually at a Braintree game this weekend, vs Aldershot. And in all honesty from the 10 minutes he played he does look a class act but I don't even think he's started a game for them.

I wouldn't rule out Acuna still playing a part here and It's a bit of a shame he's not here now as would have got a run in the team. As for Jabukiak, he is on loan to a non league club , a club which he has yet to start a game for but we feel he'll be in the first team squad next season. More likely we try and get him a club in league 1 or 2 to go on loan to.

I was up Carrer Rud on Satdy and saw the Sunderland left back take a half-hearted flick at an opponent which was very similar to Ranegie's, but he only got a yellow card. Mind you, he managed to get himself sent off later for getting carded again.

Blackpool, Barnsley, Sunderland - I've never seen such a succession of teams out of their depth.

It isn't specifically pace that we need. We need a striker that plays on the shoulder of the defence. Whilst pace is always a good thing to have, it isn't like we need someone that is rapid like Anya or even Vydra. If you played any other the top strikers in the league off the shoulder of a defender you're going to cause the same problems.

Ranegie and Deeney (or should I say "Raneeney" as they will become known ) are gonna rip this league a new one next season.

We could try using Simms but he has a poor scoring record.
