When you look at the free agents out there it's not hard to see why the club are taking so long. A number of them linked with us before, we probably can't decide which one to sign!

There young American midfielder looked very good when I saw him, just can't remember his name. Otasowie maybe, Gibbs-White looks decent on occasions.
If this is indeed confirmed, this was basically a carbon copy of the Dendoncker situation, wasn't it. A lovely little example of history further repeating.
As with Olise it's probably not really a case of us letting him slip by, but rather that they were always going to go to a more established PL club instead where possible.
Shame as West Brom fans thought he was great and looked like exactly the sort of player we needed and had it been a straight choice between us and them I'm sure he'd have come here. But ultimately not much we could do when the W team pecking order is very much Wolves > Watford > West Brom.
There have been some rumours they might sell Neves this summer though (to clubs bigger than us obvs).
Unless something has drastically changed in his ability, surely Bentaleb would significantly improve our midfield?
Hmmm, did absolutely nothing for Newcastle on loan with them in 20-21 and got historically relegated with Schalke last season. Also has a litany of behavioural issues going back through his career. It's hard to say who wouldn't improve a midfield that has Gosling and Cleverley in line for potential starting positions, but I'm not sure if he is improvement enough to make it worth it, or indeed able to.
He was so bad that Schalke relegated him to their B Team. But our "expert scouts" have their clocks set back several years so we'll probably sign him.
Its back on, I look forward to a few days anticipation and then to be let down again in a few days time. I dont really knwo too much about Yokuslu but he doesnt seem to be of the calibre to play for Wolves, maybe as a bench option. Perhaps offer of first team football could lure him into a relegation fight in SW Herts. Having said that, Id prefer Danilo.
Danilo for the player he could become yes, but I think Yokuslu is exactly what we need right now. I still don't expect us to get him but hopefully we won't have to see him in a Wolves shirt.
