After joining our rivals Jamaica I never want to see him in a Watford shirt again.

The difference with Nyron is that he knows the English game and this league inside out.

If only we had more of this.

He is a big, strong, no nonsense defender that knows this league well and isn't afraid to shout at someone if needs be. As good as Angella Belk and Ekstrand can be, it would be hugely helpful to have someone to rely on at the back. Obviously that is all reliant on to whether he comes back the same player but let's be honest it's hardly like we are water tight at the back and places ain't up for grabs. He is a welcome addition back in my opinion and have no worries if his name comes up in the starting line up soon.

I'm with you Harris :sign15: As long as he comes back the same player, he is the missing link to shore up our leaky defence IMO!!!

Might be in the team if Ekstrand and Doyley aren't fit...

His presence in the first team squad may get the other three central defenders to pull their fingers out knowing they now have some competition. I don't think he is the answer but Hoban would be.

It's amazing how the players who are currently not playing will be the saviour of the season. Nos, Abdi and Battochio are the ones people think will make the difference between the dreadful season we are currently having and winning the league. I admit it would be nice to have Abdi back and maybe Batts should be more involved, but would a 33 year old defender who has just had a career threatning injury and is definitely prone to some mistakes the great saviour? If it keeps Doyley out of the team then yes! Otherwise no, he is handy to have back in the squad but I fail to see how he is the answer to all of our problems defensively. Hopefully I'm wrong

The others hasn't exactly covered themselves in glory..

Didn't Angella get caught out in the final minute playing around with the ball at Middlesbrough - a rare mistake admittedly.

Belkalem probably needs a run of games without making a mistake to boost his confidence.

If in doubt get rid - which is what Nosworthy would do but admittedly not sure how comfortable he'd be played the ball along our own penalty area.

    Physically Nosworthy would be idea.

So you are happy with this season ? You think 7th is good enough ?

7th reflects accurately the skill of the players we have available, the way they are playing as a team, the injuries we have and the management style and tactics.

We have set sail in a particular direction, we will have to see where we end up.

Don't know where you saw that in my post.

I refer you to GOBE's reply.

I don't think 7th accurately reflects the skills of the players. If it was based on that we would be doing better, it does however reflect, as you say, how they play as a team. We have the talent, we just need to find a way to make it work in a team

7th or 20th... it don't really matter, you're still playing in the Chumpionship next year!

I rather we finished 20th.... gets rid of all the glory hunters and means I can laugh/boo in the face of all those who jumped on the bandwagon last year expecting us to be in the Premiership.

Stick Nosworthy in defence, put Beleck up front and Cassetti in the Chalobah role and watch Watford fans implode in rage.

True. Dyche's old fashioned english-style defender was our best player by some distance, despite being out with a broken leg for 6 months. I'm not sure what to make of that.

Great to have him back. thought he was impressed and will get better. Can't wait to get Hoban back too.

He gives 110% and right now we need more of players like him !!

Definately. One of the things that impressed me most about Nos on saturday was that he gave us something that has been missing far too often season... leadership on the pitch. A couple of times against Bolton he pulled a player to one side and had a chat with him about where to position himself, who to mark etc and it shows the respect the players have for him because they listened. It made a refrshing change from some of the bickering (normally involving Angella) that has been going on.
