Foster seems fated never to play against Man Utd in the cup.

Last time we drew them, he was on loan to us from Old Trafford and was ineligible.

Not bad at all. We're playing positively and Sarr is dangerous. But Zinc's dead ball kicks are as diabolical as KK warned they would be. Fits the Pozzo model.

Diamonds is a dreadful film.
Cat is nice though.

 

Decent half in my opinion. When the ball is played up, we actually seem to have players to contest for loose balls. There is little bit of understanding between the players also; propably it helps when there are players nearby. Also good to see two banks or for when defending.

Navarro is not very fast... We are not leaving too many players down to defend, when we have corners or freekicks up front.

Instead of a good result, I am more keen to see some purpose and idea of team play. So far we have that.

We have no strikers. None. This club is going absolutely nowhere until we sign someone who will actually trouble defences and put the ball in the f**king net.

I am so, so bored of watching us offer absolutely nothing in attack because we don't have anyone up top who can do their job even semi-competently.

This club is sh*t.

 

Lots of shots but nothing very troubling.

Saddled with expensive, ineffective strikers.

 

OK performance I guess, not going to take too much from it seeing as they were second string and half arsing it, but at least we didn't get battered. Good thing is that a few key players are now back, hope it stays that way!

 

We started with a right back who has played literally about 5 games in 3 years, and then let the absolute embarrassment take the free kick for our final chance of the game. It's comical.

 

We didn't lose 4-0 though. What more do you want?

 

So obvious what we are sorely missing and lacking.

I have minimum faith in Gino to fix it though, centre back arrival pending.

 

Decent showing although toothless. If we only had a decent 9...

 

Decent performance all round. Need to give these same attacking players a few games together. New guy was alright. Set pieces hit or miss. Hughes looked a bit better. Gray did Ok. As wasteful as Sarr is, he’s missed when not on the pitch.

 

If ever there was a “a football was kicked for 90 minutes” match watched, it was that.

 

I thought we played well, although we conceded early we were not outplayed, all of the players including subs didn’t let us down!

 

We had that on in the background during an epic game of monopoly and I thought you did pretty well. I now understand what I’ve read about strikers on here though, absolutely chuff all through the middle.

Thought the new lad on the wing looked useful and I’ve always been a fan of Hughes.

 

Decent performance. Hughes and JP getting 90 mins is a plus. If Hughes is back on the bench for the league game I will be enraged.
