Well what can one say ...... the usual 'turn out' of the 'likely lads' - but where were the freaks, who promised to 'grace' us with their presence?

Faith ...... eventually 'tumbled' it (more than welcome) .... could drink the average Polyester Peanut under the table ........

The 'Goodwin' lurch .... desperately trying to hide his yellow nylon thingie underneat his coat in the corner ........... we weren't laughing (much)!

A few pissed up youth ..... just about tolerated.

And .......... basically a good WHam day out - as usual - un-bismirched by the **** squad ..... and long may it continue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if this is gonna start the whole shirt/wig argument again then whats the point!

Some people like wearing colours, some dont (just seems that the ones who dont are making a song and dance about the ones who do...)

    Errrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmm

    Chewitt:- My original post ........

Isn't it a bit strange how the 'whittering, tittering' middle class fruits were so desperate to find the location of the Brown Bear on saturday?

Why on earth would they wish to be present - when they will clearly have no affinity with the 'usual band of suspects' who will be in attendance?

If wearing your colours - loud and proud - is so prevalent ..... surely you'll be packing out every pub between Liverpool St and Plaistow?

Why on earth would you even contemplate heading for Aldgate East in your 'Loans.co.uk' hordes ...... please answer - what's the attraction?

Exactly where does it say freaks - like you - aren't welcome???????????

None of you self righteous ******s actually bothered to read, inwardly digest, let alone be bothered to reply to my questions .............

Bogsider, you didn't need to say it, i think it's quite clear from all that you've posted in the thread in mathc arragements that you don't want those that wear colours there.

Ok can somebody please explain to me why people (like me) who wear our teams shirt to our teams matches are "freaks" or "*****"? Because i really dont understand.

And the argument that its yellow is rather pathetic, how can you call yourself a supporter if you wont wear a shirt just because its yellow?!?!?! sad world it is..

At least you have an excuse then.

    You really are rather simple.

Is it that hard to understand that there are quite a lot of WFC fans that can go to away games without the need/wish to to wear club colours?

Obviously you are quite young/inexperienced (club coach ******) ..... but (traditionally) the wearing of soppy yellow shirts is NOT the 'done' thing!

Basically, wearing 'yellah' nylon rags was really only done by under 12s - in very tiny numbers - in the 70s 80s and right up to the 'freaksville' of the late 90s when the middle classes suddenly discovered 'footie' ..... big surprise sonny - it is actually a new phenomena (driven by club marketing, and the 'SKY' generation).

Many - who've been going for years before you were even born - find it laughable that tmany of your generation feel the need to be-deck yourselves in shirts (often with your ownnames on the back) in your desperate desire to affiliate yourselves with your local team - your choice ...... not mine, nor many others!

  26. HornetteCarly

    HornetteCarly Future Mrs Henderson

Yeh but why do you feel the need to patronise other fans because they choose to do something you dont?!

You actually go out of your way to say that everyone who wears colours are stupid etc. To be honest your making yourself just look petty (and a bit scarily obsessed with the whole thing)

I dont honestly care what fans did before i was born. Why should i?

3 days after i was born i was put into a baby jumpsuit that had watford all over it (and after being corrected by my mum) it was actually bright YELLOW.

That was actually given to me by my godfather, a man who has been going to watford for 50/60 years now? So if he wanted to put me in a bright yellow jumpsuit then so be it!

Are you actually so ignorant that you cant understand youself why people like to wear colours? Oh and for your information i never said i didnt understand that people can go to away matches without wearing colours, i understand it fully. So before you jump ahead of yourself think about the accusations you make first

Oh and i love how you speak for the whole older generation on this matter, when quite frankly i know a lot of the older generation who wear colours to away matches.

If you choose not to then that is perfectly fine i have nothing against it at all. But from an older person you should be more mature about the whole thing instead of coming onto a message board and calling people "freaks" and "*****" and acting all cliquey. You are acting like a 15 yr old yourself to be frank

    inches ...... correct (porn star).

Carly - try reading what I actually wrote ........

I have no real problem with shirts/colours to be honest (on youngsters) - it's just not for me. I tend to associate them with youngsters .... I personally think that 20/30/40/50 year old men/women look a bit ridiculous in club colours that's all!

  30. HornetteCarly

    HornetteCarly Future Mrs Henderson

Yes but im not talking about that, and im a 20 yr old woman (and personally dont think i look "ridiculous" in my clubs shirt)

I did read what you wrote (so dont patronise me please) but you seem to be missing my point. Maybe you think that its 'ridiculous' but to come on here and openly insult people etc just because they DO like to wear club colours is just a bit immature.

  31. HornetteCarly

    HornetteCarly Future Mrs Henderson

You basically come on here and being like "waheyyyyyyyyyyyy those freaks didnt turn up at our pub"

You act like people who wear colours are lepers or something! Why cant you just be a bit more open minded and accept that people like to support their club in their own way? no need to insult them just becuase you think differently to them.

But anyway i cant be bothered with this, its technically my birthday now and i dont wanna be arguing at half 3 in the mornin about stupid stuff! lol

As you were asking who was MOM in an earlier post .... I take it you didn't go to that massively far away game at Upton Park - yet you get most upset that a PROPER SUPPORTER doubts the yellow polyester wearing freaks - ho hum!

Actually for your information i have only been to one match this season as i have to be a full time carer so dont actually get to go to matches this season. However have had season tickets and been going to home and away matches for god knows how many years now. But yet again you choose to jump to conclusions. Good one.
