gone ok so far.

There are about 30 factories in our group spread world wide and our four factories are making money so the first year was ok , they are chasing us to cut costs at the moment . Luckily we are a lean factory (labour only 10% of sales) so our head count will not get cut , but it just means we got to try and beat up suppliers which takes time and effort away from the planning and improvemnts on the production side.

 

sounds much better than the 'mergers' i've been involved in, with both over 50% of the staff left within 6 months got too annoyed!!

 

it could well happen that some of the factories in germany and france will lose heads . hey ho

 

least it's not yours!!!!
