To be honest I’m too brow beaten to complain anymore. This group of players disappoints time and again.

Barca were allowed to sign someone outside the transfer window to rectify their crippling shortage of players. Can we ask for, oh, eleven emergency signings?

Example of a big team getting a favour!?

Guess its the rules set by La Liga though so well fair play to them.

Basically nicking another team's best striker...

If we did that the player would probably be injured in days or utterly hopeless though.

It's funny though, isn't it? "Moaning"?

I genuinely believe we could go multiple seasons in a row without picking up a single point or scoring a single goal, and some of our strange fans would still insist people are just "moaning" unfairly.

Never saw much of it but enjoyed the SB banter. Missed the whole first half and half the second so cannot really comment on overall performances. Scoreline sounds about right, given how crap we are with a mid table Championship defence. I'm sure they are trying but we are just not good enough this time.

Manure are way ahead of us in overall quality and that showed all over the park. Not getting into a VAR debate I am sick of it now. We play poor we lose - simple as that. From what I did hear on a crap 3CR reception we started alright but faded as soon as they went ahead.

LiVARpool is a total write off. I am goung though, need my head examined. This game was not a free hit, it's shameful how crapoy we have been since that Deeney pen miss.

Relegation all but confirmed after Leicester I feel. We still play Southampton, Norwich and Wet Spam, so we still have a glimner of hopr.. but thats fading fast.

The only positive is no injuries and suspensions. Oh, and if Spam get slapped by Liverpool tomorrow nothing changes points wise. But, we cannot look after ourselves anymore.

In before all the bedwetters who are the reason we are getting relegated turn up.

We'll still be fine. We have loads of games left, are only 20 points behind our same fixtures last season and have team changing players like Cleverley and Welbeck back now.

We managed to limit United to only 9 shots on target, we should be happy with that. We dispossessed them a few times and had a period of pressure. You can't look at that and feel anything but pride.

Gray makes some good runs in the box but don't play.
We all know everyone else don't make good runs in the box. Bit like saying the grass is green or the sunny sky is blue.

Yep we’ve got some weirdo fans who see any criticism of the team as an outrage. Some bloke above was actually shocked that people were “moaning” in the shoutbox after that performance.

The worry is that we could be in a worse position, on the pitch, than we were the season we got promoted.

Not really. I would say my "moaning" is less extreme than the extreme, delusional happy clapping we see from certain members on this board.

And off it - might be quite messy.

The sellable assets know they will be off in the summer should relegation happen so there isn't any real motivation for them and the rest aren't good enough no matter who plays in defence.

Is anyone actually shocked that this load of bottlers tamely rolled over and allowed a distinctly poor Utd side (Fernandes apart) to have their way with us?

The championship is a level below remember so those teams will be more in line with us i.e.defences not that good and players not ruthlessly taking chances in games.

I haven't looked up the stats but my impression watching live is that GD passed the ball to a United player 7 out of 8 times he had the ball. 2 time leading to goals. I don't understand why he was not substituted.

I can answer that. Pearson looked at his bench and thought "nah".

  22. Shouldn't have bothered wasting Sarr on this at the end. The game was over.

Need him at full throttle next week as he'll be the difference when we beat Liverpool.

I don't think we will ever get a better chance to beat Manure at Old Trafford.

Disappointed to say the least. Like too many games this season, we looked very good in patches but there was no real goal threat. Our defence always has a few mistakes in it every game and our high intensity play makes us vulnerable to to weariness and concentration lapses at the end of halves.

Not sure what the answer is, or even if there is one with our current pool of players, but we need something to change and change soon.

I think dawson contributed less than mariappa does. Defensively there was not much difference, but marriappa gets forward much more.

Ian Wright and Steve macmanaman just ripped us a new one. Personally don’t think it was justified. Had we gambled a bit in final third first half it could of been different. I think united exposed our weakness with Dawson at right back very well and opened us up easily moving Fernandez over to their left and using James pace caused havoc. Once united got the 2nd there was only one winner as the game opened up.

Hughes Doucoure Capoue massina can come away with their heads held high they kept going. Deulofeu should of been brought off at half time, it wasn’t going his way and he sulked, gave up on numerous occasions, maybe a spell on the bench and use him as the impact sub might wake him up.

I was one believing we could get something out of these 2 difficult fixtures but I’m always wearing those yellow tinted glasses.

I’ll look at the positives from today and continue to wear these glasses and pray for a result next time out. At the very least keep the score respectable

    What was that on?

    ESPN.

Wrighty usually is quite supportive of us so must have been a bad one - his mate Deeney missing an early chance didn't help!

Again when on top got to take your chances to give us a chance.

Then gifted them a leg up hardly helps.

Thought Dawson would be exposed for pace...need Kiko back.

Thought we just looked a bit disinterested and lacklustre. Pereyra again looks like he’d rather be anywhere else.

Doucoure can tout himself out to champions league clubs all he wants but he’s got the touch of a serial killer and he always will do.

Ref was an absolute joke - literally couldn’t wait to blow up for every bit of contact. Made his day when he ruled out our goal.

Honestly I’d rather be attending games in the championship next season, it’s such a soulless experience in the premier league.

Getting pretty ******* bored of watching this group of broken toys make the same idiotic decisions and stupid mistakes time after time and time, to be honest. Every second of watching them lumber about like they've had their logic chips removed is a slap in the face and a testament to the arrogance of Pozzo and his refusal to upgrade in any of the key areas required, nor even to respond to unforeseen events and ******* sign anyone when, say, your first choice right back ends up being out for the season.

No no, it'll be fine, our ageing midget centre back who would struggle in the Championship will be a perfect fit covering our right wing with no support from the attacking player in front of him for several consecutive months. Never mind that we don't own a striker who can score, or even control the ball or occupy the defence; they've got passion and they know what the club is all about. Plus, we'll give one in the eye to those who maintain that centre backs need to be intelligent and have some awareness of the game to play at the top level; it'll be great.

Obviously this game will not define our season, but it was certainly emblematic of it; we saw the face of 19/20 on the pitch, alright. Can now only blindly hope against most evidence that we have a total sea change out of nowhere the week after next/whenever Sarr comes back. Then, in the summer, we can storm London Colney en masse and remove the rotten elements at the core of the club, like the medical staff, who are undeniably at this point plants installed by Luton to insidiously ruin every one of our players.
