Shot at goal according to this: http://www.cafc.co.uk/news/article/charlton-cray-wanderers-kent-senior-cup-report-2785026.aspx
A rasping drive apparently, that threatened. How would it feel to see Doyley scoring a handful for Charlton over the next few seasons?
:dismay: As far as I'm concerned Lloyd epitomised the club for a decade. Not the best, most skillful or glamorous, but works bloody hard at being the absolute best they could be. End of an era, but I hope he's able to get the 5 years more playing time he wants. Lloyd :love2:
Love the description: "Doyley got forward to threaten with a rasping drive from just inside the box on the half-hour mark"
I didn't even know he was training at Charlton. I just saw the image of him in their kit on Twitter and, quite frankly, it's scarred me for life.
I have not been in a position to properly check the forum in recent weeks and did not realise that Lloyd has effectively left the club. Nothing much to say other than (in case you are reading this) the very best of good luck to you in the remainder of your career and many thanks for your years of commitment to the club. On a personal note, I greatly appreciate you taking the time to chat to my kids and sign autographs after a friendly match in Cork a number of years ago (after specifically promising to do so before the game). A Watford legend you are, sir.

Never forget. 6 years on and it still brings a smile to my face.
https://healthylifestyle101.leadpages.co/lloyd-doyley-healthy-coffee/ Lloyd Doyley hot drinks out now.
Lloyd has been drawn into Richard Lee's dodgy pyramid scheme. We need to save him, get him back in the squad.
It's the latest series of The Apprentice. The other team consists of Samba Diakite, Josh McEachran and Dominic Poleon. They are making healthy polystyrene crisps.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35612545 Doyley joins Rotherham and Neil Warnock until the end of the season.
I always knew Lloyd was on trial at various clubs, but part of me never actually wanted him to sign a deal. Excuse me, I think I have something in my eye.
Good luck Lloyd. Probably my second favourite goal of all time. Always such a gent and a hornet through and through.
