My concerns and that post are completely reasonable. No idea what you're, once again, babbling on about in terms of "slagging a decent servant of the club", and also no idea where the "unreasonable bull" in my previous post is either?

Your posts are beginning to come off like the inane ramblings of a madman. Is this you?:

Having a medical at Wolves for 12 mil - we're literally being mugged off by anyone and everyone in this league bar Cardiff. This season literally feels like we're in the role of a newly promoted club.

Or maybe we just don't want to sign him? We have Doucoure, Chalobah, Hughes and Capoue who are all arguably ahead of him in the pecking order?

  4. Excellent.

You are developing a sense of humour. I like that. It is genuinely funny.

Especially the idea that you haven't spent the best part of your forum time slating our players. That bit was hilarious.

You genuinely don't think you do, do you?

One day you'll read your posts back and think "what a ****".

And don't worry. I already do that all the time.

In fairness two of those are currently injured. We've no idea when Chalobah will be back or if he will be the same player he was pre-injury.

The fact we are interested in a CM suggests the level of cover we have in CM isn't adequate

I have "slagged off" certain players a number of times, no denying it at all, it was just weird for you to bring up for no apparent reason during a discussion that has absolutely nothing to do with that whatsoever.

    Supposedly he's costing Wolves £12mil.

If the terms of the deal when selling a player for £45m don't allow you to move forward with enough cashflow to spend £15m/£20m, then the terms on that £45m deal may not be right.

Plus weren't we told that Dendoncker's agent is indeed Gino's Belgian mate? Pours a bit of cold water on Wolves getting all their players on the cheap from Mendes.

Gino is even getting mugged off by his Belgian pal now.

When this thread was started on January 27 of this year, WFC had a rumoured interest and nothing more. West Ham, although named, weren't ready to make an offer while Everton were supposedly offered the player.

Fast forward to July 27th when I posted news the player looked to be certain to move from Anderlecht.
We were not mentioned at all in the article and I only posted it because of the rumour from January.

There's a very good chance we've never been interested in this player, particularly in this window.

Another point I'd like to make is about the player himself.

When Dendoncker's name was coming up in internet searches at the end of July, the Belgium/Dutch press became quite critical of him in how he was conducting himself with regards to wanting to move from his current club. Their summation was he was getting very poor advice from those around him, such as his agent.

If, and it's a big if, we were ever interested it may not be WFC's fault he's ending up somewhere else.

As I just mentioned above, the fee is supposedly £12mil, so not a million miles away from what we seem prepared to pay for Ward-Prowse, though this guy is better.

Don't mean to suggest we have an interest in the player. More that nearly all Prem team seems to be shopping in one market, whilst us and Cardiff shop in another. This could all change - I just find that Dawson offer so disrespectful it's strange.

I don't think anybody is thinking we shouldn't invest

It is the assumption that we are somehow choosing not to spend a theorised pile of cash I find daft

We barely turn a profit even after £30m player sales, and have increasing debts, just to try and keep up with a division where almost every club now is owned or run by a billionaire

If we spent what came in, we would go bust. We need player sales to stay in the black, the most recent accounts proved that

It might be frustrating, but even though we are in the promised land, we are still in the bottom three in terms of financial clout

Recent seasons have had large negative outgoings in terms of transfers so I disagree we need to make money on transfers to not go bust. Last 3 seasons net spend was 65m, 10m (Ighalo sale) and 50m.

This season is a negative net spend of 20m.

I’m not saying the previous seasons are sustainable on an ongoing basis but it really isn’t too much to ask to reinvest some of that 20m in a centre back upgrade.

Not really, but I saw him play in their two Europa League knock-out games against Man Utd 1.5 years ago and he impressed.

An excellent scouting report. Have you passed this on to the club?

So two games he played 18 months ago allows the conclusion that he is much better than Ward Prowse.

I've also seen him play a couple of times for Belgium and watched a few Youtube vids.

And he is. He wouldn't have got in to a talented Belgium squad otherwise.

A pity. Would have greatly added to the depth of that midfield and a tandem of him and Doucoure, Pereyra and Delofeu out wide and player X upfront would have been very exciting.

    Decker, Dondecka, Bannana Po-Pecker.

Crazy name, crazy unproven in the premier league footballer.

    Fee-fi-foh-fecker.

Massive gamble for them and I sincerely hope he will represent just another nee-nah-noh-necker name on a long list of desperate Wollopyerhampton failures interested only in drawing their pay packet and either malingering in the treatment room or congregating en-masse in whatever seedy horror passes for late night gentleman's entertainment in the West Midlands these days whilst Wolves plunge back towards the Chee-cha-choh-championship.

As well as being comical to say, his name is also a bit reminiscent of that of a Nazi concentration camp guard who has been found at the age of 85 living quietly in Vienna.
