Because the majority of posts on here, especially regarding takeovers & transfers, are guess work and wishful thinking.

If somebody knows something and, generally, have been entrusted with that information they have no need to make a song and dance of such things.

Affleck's wrong, due diligence has been done already. Think he's just learned the word embryonic and is trying to use it at every possible turn.

 

correct, an absoluet basic when the deal is as far ahead as this one. the deal is absoluetly not embryonic affleck is guessing!

 

Maybe one of the twitterers on here could ask Affers to respond to Baz's comments today that the Italians aren't at the table anymore.

 

Neither Bas nor Affleck are trustworthy. The Italians are very much at the table, there's biscotti EVERYWHERE.

 

Was this always seen as a 'hostile' takeover attempt or is there a chance Bas actually wants to sell the club to the Italians and his latest statement today is just a smokescreen to cover up a process already well in motion?

From what I know, DD has already been completed and we should see some sort of firm action in the near future, if not sooner.
