I thought you were joking and had a bit of a giggle.

Then I went over there and laughed even more when I found it was true.

Had a great 1st half, but faded away a bit in the 2nd, overall not bad though!

Takes quite a lot to make Yaya look like a bit of a mug.

I vaguely recalled one seriously impressive moment in that game where he showed great strength and composure to go past a player but couldn't remember when/which player it was, thanks for posting that!

To think that was one of numerous aspects of his game he was severely (and unfairly IMO) criticised for earlier on in the season...

Abdi was the best technical player I'd ever seen for Watford until Jurado came along.

A simple test to find out if your friends are ******s or not. Ask them what they think about jurado. If the first thing they say is 'he doesn't track back enough' then you know they are imbeciles.

    I still think he's crap.

  16. wee bit short of pace and strength but technically brilliant in every way

Anyone who doesn't like watching him on the ball can do one and once they've done one they can done another one

    Not really.

Biggest waste of talent in football, doesn't play till they're losing.

We love to over hype our own, great skill but come on, Yaya makes himself look like a mug for 80 minutes of most Man City matches by walking around not trying.

I'm really hoping he gets his second assist of the season soon.

It's a shame the camera was directly above him when he scooped the ball over the City player's head, cos the gazillions watching at home wouldn't have had the same perspective wot we had in the SEJ.

One more than Gueds...although fair play to Gueds, he did try his hardest to set up Sunderland.

hitting the post is much harder than hitting the back of the net. Much smaller thing to aim at.

If we could have substituted Jurado with a fresh Jurado, instead of another player, I think we wouldn't have lost both the spurs and city game, IMO.

I've had a conversation with a guy on twitter who said that he "gives the ball away to much and doesn't track back". I watched the game back and he got tackled twice and did 2 or 3 sloppy passes to the opposition, all in attacking areas when this is more likely to happen. Deeney gave the ball away a few times looking for Ighalo, just happens more often in those areas of the pitch.

I also didn't see any evidence of not tracking back. He seems to have been given some license and to get up and support D&I, which sometimes puts him out of position defensively. To say he doesn't track back is very unfair.

Just accept there are a fair amount of stupid people both on Twitter and support Watford who have no idea what they're talking about.

Okay so he's had one good game I think you all need to calm down about jurado. He's look pretty average and unfit for the rest of the season. I think a thread for one game is a bit excessive and a highlight video. Maybe I should make one called Ben Watson vs the premier league. He hasn't put a foot wrong this season.

I think the reason there is one for Jurado is that he has been the one taking all the flack this season. Sure, it's taken him a little longer to get up to speed (fitness?), but some comments are not really correct, are very selective and have been used against him solely where other players have also been guilty.

Watson has been brilliant. Also helps to remember that he's played in England his whole career (including the Prem) and he hasn't had an injury to deal with this season when comparing him to little Jurado.
