Think we need 4 in. - Quality DM - Quality CM - Winger / AM (Berghuis would probably be ideal) - Striker, or RB depending on the state of Dje Dje (heard he was training be had a relapse). We'll probably get 2 and a last minute loan.
Which foreign players are most at risk if we make more signings? IMO Doucoure is likely to be loaned out (even if he did play well last night), but beyond that it's hard to cut anyone from the list when we're so short of players. Perhaps Kabasele and Guedioura.
Wouldn't mind Helder Costa from Wolves, he's consistently done well this season. Can run at players and has some tricks, and scores goals as well.
Billy Sharp anyone? Experienced, HG, proven goalscorer and tearing it up in League 1 this season with 17 goals to his name. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/billy-sharp/profil/spieler/49542
So here we are 8 days into the transfer window and despite the club telling WD & the Wobbly that they have targets and will get players in early, nothing has happened. As many predicted, based on previous experience, we are going to wait to till the last minute to asses what we need and panic buy a player with historical injury problems as a sticky plaster till the end of the season. As great as the Pozzos have been, and they have been pretty pronominal for the club, the one thing we do know is that they are all spin, mouth and no trousers when it comes to transfers
If they didn't then they should have. The squad weakness has been on show for some weeks now. If they haven't used that time to scout and identify players to strengthen and then open negotiations in preparation of the window opening then they're being pretty ****ing negligent.
yep, both reported that they had been told by the club that players would arrive early I also believe anyne ITK on here and everything thye say
Our next signing is waiting at a tube station waiting for a train to Watford Met. he's got a long wait ahead.
It's been reported that this is exactly what Mazzarri has been given permission to sign, actually (striker not RB). Hopefully we actually see it, it feels like such a long time since we've had good news.
We'll get one permanant and one loan who will be very last minute We will also get alots of this one and that one didn't quite come off because, we were pipped by ....., they couldn't get their replacement lined up, work permits or we didn't agree with the players salary expectations. I wouldn't get to excited
Money, money, money, sleeve tattoo, dodgy haircuts, Motsons coat, money, passion for the badge, Jimmy Hills chin, Linekers ears, Sky, who is the ******* in the black, money, simulation, handbags, etc etc.
We need 2 x new strikers Cheap top quality ones are like hens teeth, if we want ones we will have to shell out a sack of cash
Was surprised to see that he's only 30, assumed he was older as he seems to have been around a while!
All of the Wolves Portugese players are on an absolute mint (due to their partnership with Mendes). Probably on more there than most of our players.
oh please enlighten us with your wisdom. Team A has to wait till team C has a player lined up so that team G can buy a replacement. When team G has a replacement they can then send him to team B who will release 4 players to team E F and K bla bla bla It would be a lot harder if these hundreds of clubs has 3 or 4 months between windows to talk to each other. We can but dream
Ok. ITKJim is Hornet23 who was a windup troll who said virtually the same things in similar threads. Don't let the username change blind you from her games.
I know I was going to stay out of transfer talk this window but here are my thoughts: Sinclair – keep the lad. Give him a chance. Hogan – Buy please. Ighalo – offload please. Perhaps 12 months too late, definitely 6 months too late, but offload. Lansbury – Buy please. Kabasele – Keep please. Deeney – Keep please. Gabbiadini – not overly fussed, other than having Gabiadini and Deeney up front will be a comentator’s nightmare of they start doing 1-2s all over the place. Birdhouse – bring back in please. Capoue – Offload please. Not sure where that leaves us with the 25 but a few HG in there so all good. With injuries coming back, this should leave us with a decent second half of the season and some decent younger squad members to springboard us into 2017/18. Thanks for your time and good day.
WD Sport reckon we should be looking at 34yo Wes Hoolihan :]] http://www.wdsport.co.uk/2017/01/five-players-watford-should-look-at-signing-in-january/
