Probably a pay rise from Ligue 1 and if things go well for all he would be a premier league player by August. His former teammate Sarr is here. We’re probably the right profile of team - he’ll get more minutes that at Rennes but not have to drop down to too low a standard to get them.
Is there any real reason to presume him and Sarr are in any way close or friends? I'm sure there are plenty of footballers who couldn't give a crap if they ever see some of their old team mates ever again.
