It's fine. The first 3 weeks of the season are just free swings and our squad depth is so huge that we can afford to rest half our squad. Come the end of the season, dropping 2 points against Wednesday will be fine. So will losing to the Scum and having that result held over us for 100 years. More important that we give other players a run out.
Well, to be fair the Liverpool fan I know best said to me from the minute Liverpool were linked with him that he hoped Liverpool didn’t buy Sarr. He’s watched him a lot when watching Watford games with me and doesn’t rate him quite as highly as our fan base. He was far happier with the prospect of Jota. Just because we think Sarr’s the best thing since sliced bread, doesn’t mean every fan base does.
Leave it out m8. When he posts good news, he's ITK and it's time for the Leventhal memes. If he posts bad news, he doesn't know what the **** he's talking about. You know how it works
So you, a Watford “fan” (I use the term loosely) rate Liverpool fans worse than the likes of Millwall and Luton fans. God knows what that says about you - and those who have liked the post.
I suspect the defeat to Luton where Ivic is forced to play himself after more players are struck with illness will be the turning point for most on here.
Agree. I think the other problem with not playing him is that it sends the wrong message going into a negotiation. If we are so scared he may get an injury that could scupper a sale it signals we are desperate to sell and therefore this reduces our hand in negotiations.
Unfortunately Watford seems to be the epicenter for Covid 20 at the moment which will come to light in 2021.
Yawn. Maybe you should read my follow up reply to KnightGT, for a start. Also, do you have anything new? You know the whole "I don't like your opinions so I'm going to passive aggressively call you a "fan" and say that I use that term loosely" stuff has been done to death. Tw*t.
The issue is there's a lot more Liverpool fans than Millwall and Luton, and I'm inclined to agree with Nath. I've met quite a few Luton and Millwall fans at England games and enjoyed some good banter and drinks with them - and yes I get this is outside of a match against them which is different. On the contrary, I've seen two occasions in recent years where Liverpool fans (the proper ones from Liverpool not the glory hunters) have had an overnight stay in Watford before a match at Wembley where they've acted like complete *****, and kicked off with people - One occasion when trying to seek out what football team people in Watford support - and when people said Watford they in turn got nasty and violent. They have a real scum element to them. The ones you see on Social Media are largely the ones who've never been Anfield and are just ignorant and annoying.
I'm sure Mr HH is a lovely guy. There are of course good and bad in every fan base and I've got mates who are Liverpool fans. But pretty much every non-Liverpool fan I know thinks that they have the worst fans, and there does seem to be 'bad Liverpool fans' everywhere. If there's someone acting like a British scumbag watching the football at a bar on a European holiday, you'd win plenty of money by betting that they're a Liverpool supporter. I'm sure the worst of Millwall and Luton's fanbase are pretty awful too however.
**** saving Sarr, this must now be our priority , rid TV of Ollie Mars though continual exposure to Covid 19, if it proves successful we can up the anti by taking out the whole of eastenders and that **** from catch phrase (my wife watches not me )
Whereas randomly calling someone a “****” is a really mature and thought out way of counter arguing. I use the term “fan” loosely to describe you because, like your main cheerleader (who is one of only two - well, now three - people on my ignore list as he is so relentlessly unpleasant to people who hold different views to him), I find you add very little constructive comment to any debate and are just relentlessly negative and aggressive for the sake of it. Unlike you, though, I have no interest in getting embroiled in unpleasant dialogue. Don’t bother to reply to this as I won’t see it.
Forum excellent these days! One poster has performed a mass block of people who have different views to him and now we have the classic manoeuvre “make catty post and then ignore to get last word”. A timeless classic. Absolute top quality flouncing this weekend team!
Fair enough. You can only go on your own experiences of fan bases. I agree that there is an element of the Liverpool fan base that is hideous - I’m not denying that. But, having had the misfortune of sitting amongst Millwall fans once at a match, I would still argue against describing them as the worst fanbase. Plus, the Liverpool fans I know personally are all really nice (not just talking about Mr HH here) - none of them are scousers admittedly, but none of them are glory hunters either and all are v knowledgeable about football. Anyway, whether we agree or not, fair play for putting across a decent case for the opposing view, rather than simply calling me a tw*t
Makes passive aggressive comments and passes judgement on peoples character because he/she cannot handle their differing opinion about another teams fans, then tries to jump on his/her high horse. Lol.
