Yes I remember, they all blur into one for me distinguished only by who the **** manager was at the time. It just seemed odd that the particular season picked as turgid seemed relatively full of goals at both ends. I guess there was no excitement of a late escape from relegation.

My most traumatic front 2 was the Norville Foley pairing when we lost at home to Luton in the cup. Even now writing this years later I can't fully comprehend the terrible chain of events that led to such a tragic team selection and the inevitable outcome.

Danny Cullip. Was Brighton’s captain marvel in their bleaker years. Was dreadful for us.

 

Only played a few games. On loan from Sheffield United? I think he was quite solid and contributed to us surviving in AB's first season.
