I've never seen the attraction of the Lower Rous. The only time I've ever sat there was for the win against Burnley in the FA Cup quarters a few years back. Enlighten me?
No massive effort will be made to get my season ticket seat in the Rookery, i will simply buy a ticket and if somebody is in 'my seat' they will be moved on.
Hasn't failed to work in the years i have been going to Watford, why would they want so sit with the people i sit with every week anyway?
Yeah, I suppose, but I wouldn't be too happy if someone told me to sling my hook as I was taking my seat. Your season ticket seat isn't Rookery U115 is it!?
lol i will find a phone tomorrow or just try online again later. Has anyone else had the problem booking online before?
Where do you sit then Birdy? I wont be taking up my seat in the Rookery. I will just take a spare seat where there is one. Love to sit in the Rookery for the atmosphere but usually miss more of the match as I have to walk round from the East stand Family Room and then back again before half time.
Must be a great view. Only sat in Upper Rous once and that was when we played a [re season friendly against Spurs and Ronnie Henry (from Hemel) was playing for them. Think he's at Stevenage now.;D
Yeah! She doesn't stop me drinking at the footy, in fact, she positively encourages it! And she sings and shouts more than some of the "die hard" fans around me
Ive just decided to get tickets for ipswich game! Anyone know if there are any left?! Cant wait to see the moon all yellow! ;D ;D Ill be there!
I'm sure there will be tix left, especially in the vic rd end, but you might get lucky in the rookery I dont mean it that way!
UEA, You were not quite correct. I wonder what they will be allocated - all of the Vic now? From Ipswish Town rivals site. Town Request More Tickets By Philip Ham Date: 13/2/2007 Town have asked for more tickets for Saturday's FA Cup tie at Watford. The initial allocation for the club's first fifth round tie in 11 years has sold out and further tickets are likely to become available within the next few days. The Blues requested 2,260 seats for the game, the largest number of tickets available on a sale or return basis. Town could have asked for all 4,600 seats in the Vicarage Road Stand but would have had to pay for most of the tickets up front and risked losing a sizeable amount of cash if sales were low.
they could have offered us Sam Parkin if they couldn't afford 2000 tickets at £20. How lucky were we with that signing?
Ipswich have definately taken the whole of the Vic Road end. Other tickets going fast, could even be a complete sell out.
Paddy, I think you will find that he joined the sc*m and then had to undergo an op on the ankle he broke - out for the whole season. I still think he has as many goals as Doris
Course I was correct Colin If they ask for it we have to give them it! Like most clubs though we take advantage of FA rules and do this silly upfront purchase thing for half the seats.
UEA, Rich - have you seen the latest information from Ipswich re tickets? Does it mean the Vic will be very empty? From Ipswich Town rivals. Last Few Watford Tickets By Philip Ham Date: 13/2/2007 Town have around 250 tickets remaining for Saturday's FA Cup tie at Watford. The Blues sold their initial allocation and requested another 500 from the Hornets which went on sale this morning. Ticket office manager John Ford told the club site that no more seats will be made available: "After the remaining tickets are sold, that will be it for the game. "We had 271 tickets left at 2.30pm today and Watford have the game down as all-ticket, so Town fans will not be able to purchase a ticket on the gate at Vicarage Road."
Paddy, Ipswich asked for half the stand originally and now they have taken another 500. I don't know if we can segregate or whether there will be an empty void but they have only taken around 2,800 now.
I'm surprised as its a decent cup game and not too far, thought they would be able to sell out the vic end, their attendances ae bigger than ours.
Ipswich have now taken, and sold, all the Vic End. Should be quite an atmosphere and we will give them a stuffing but those inbreds should be used to that. 3-0, Doris hattrick. http://www.itfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10272~981834,00.html
anyone know how many tickets have been sold now? must be getting close to a full house. it is going to be a good game. a full vic end means good atmosphere normally. i also believe hendo is going to continue his prolific scoring streak and triple his tally
got mine from the ticket office today and they said they still had loads left ,especially as all of the untaken season tickets had been released
