Ipswich tickets

Does anyone know how many we have sold yet?

I have not got my season ticket seat as planning to lake the misses along as a Valentines treat (lucky girl i know, might even treat her to the Upper Rous!). I would imagine we have not sold that many and there will be loads available on the day but was thinking about going and picking mine up today if only a few thousand left.

 

Well it's unlikely to be a sellout...

 

Got mine in the Upper Rous already, but friends who have been ringing the ticketline today, (general sale day), say it's permanently engaged ;D

 

I would expect at least 18.000

The online box office says that most areas are sold out, this is probably wrong though.

 

Very wrong. The online service includes season tickets, even those that won't be taken up for the cup match.

 

Do you think, I have always found that part of the site to be accurate.

My guess is after a couple of wins most STH will purchase there tickets, add in the carrot crunchers allocation and there won't have been many for general sale anyway.

 

yeah i agree -a mate of mine is an ipswich twot - he couldn't get tickets so the chairman of the footie club he manages got him a couple.

reckon it will be 18k plus - its cheap enough and look where it will take us - last 8.

Well Ipswich get the whole Vic Rd end so that's already 'sold out' for the purposes of home fans. Then most of the rest of the ground is ST holders. The online system probably isn't fantastic for home cup matches but it still does the job.

For a league game I managed to buy a ticket in the posh stand online that turned out to be a seat not taken up by a 75 mile STH.

I was planning to buy on the door, I'll pop down sometime this week to make sure.

 

just got mine from online. there does not seem to be any seats in the rookery together apart from right at the front, just the odd single seat. There are seats available in the Upper Rous and loads left in the lower Rous, for those with families.

I decided just to get myself a ticket in the rookery, the misses can choose a take-away on Friday night, as long as it is Chinease

Mat - may be able to help ya for two seats in the rookers together - damn good seats as well.

All depends on Bug Russ from Malta - if he is coming back for the match or not, i have got a ticket for him with his season ticket which is sat next to mine.

Will keep you informed if you are interested? I would have to take your seat though and si all on my own

 

Booked mine online this morning, and thought it hadn't gone through as I hadn't got confirmation e-mail and it wasn't showing in booking history an hour later, so redid it and suddenly both booking are showing. Oops, looks like I'll have one to post back. I should have just done it over the phone.
Anyway looks like I'll be in the Rookery for once, so anyone near seat U113

 

Just phoned too... bit of a queue but moved along quite quickly...

According to the lad I spoke to they have been soooo busy they have not had time to release un-claimed STH seats

Would expect the online picture to change over the next few hours

 

if that is the case i wold get on the phone now, they can sometimes be funny about refunds.

So they are selling the carp seats before the better seats, and people wanting two together etc are struggling when they have seats available that are not yet on sale.

It makes you wonder why last month they went to the expense of employing this new bird as the ticket office manager when we are going more automated anyway. Too many chiefs not enough Indians.

 

I have (I was on hold when I was typing my original msg), and they said to put it in the post when it arrives with a covering note. Didn't take my details or anything, so I guess that's what they always say.

 

does Ben work in the ticket office as well? Quite fancy a curry now.. hmmm lunch time.

I have tried booking online, but says theres an error when I put card details through.

Has anyone else had this problem? I would phone ticket office but don't finish uni until 6. So it will be shut by then.

Does everyone honestly think we will sell out by tomorrow afternoon?

I got u115 and 116 this morning, not my season ticket seat (I'm in row N) but got two together for me and the missus, yep another valentines day treat! see you there! ;D
