"I love it here, I really love it" - Pudil

I caught Pudils match boot! Gave it straight to my 12 yr old son as a great souvenir to take back to Finland today. He was thrilled.

Thank you Puda! He Clearly loves Watford. Top bloke! Deeney threw in his shin pads too but I think that was all.

 

Pudil isn't a great defender, but in a 4-3-3 he'd be better, where he has cover in front. Technically he's very good.

 

With Hoban-Hall-Nos injured, Neuton away with the fairies and Briggs error prone, I think Zola just ran out of cbs.

 

Pudil throwing his boots at fans? Disgrace, could've injured someone really badly.

 

Hope he's here next year

 

More to the point, how can an Italian owned and coached team be so poor defensively, when I've spent a lifetime watching Italian teams demonstrate total mastery of the concept of stopping opposition playing and scoring....

It's bizarre.....

 

... Odd. Thought Pudil was probably our 5th/6th best player (not saying much). Whichever way you look at it, Briggs is a farking liability.

 

Remember this is his first season in a completely different league with a completely different style to anything he has ever played before, give him a chance

Also did he usually play wing back or midfield before he came to us? I only ask this cos on football manager he's a winger lol

 

Have to agree. He's not a natural wing back and if we continue playing 3-5-2, then I cannot see him being first choice.

I like Pudil, he's a decent player and another who clearly cares about the club, but as others have said if we persist with wing backs he can't be first choice unfortunately.
