Can we have him on loan until Garcia is out of hospital?

4 defeats in a row scoring 1 goal. Down to 13th

Lack of goals seems to be the issue again. Same as last season

A 5-1 hammering at the hands of Sevilla in the Andalucian derby tonight. A crappy weekend all round for the Pozzo clubs.

    Today Granada-Getafe.
Our cousins should really try to get out of the "black hole" and win this one, because things are getting bad now.
4 draws and 7 losses, after the brilliant start (8 points in 4 matches) put them now fully in relegation zone at 18th place.
Three points at home against a "not big" team would be really precious.
    Good luck!

Yes - this Granada season is very worrying!

I'd forgive the Granada fans for feeling a little annoyed towards the Pozzos. The Granada hierarchy go and sign Layun, only to loan him to us, and it sounds like they could use whatever can get right now.

Cancel Juanfran's loan to Deportivo, send him to us early and give Granada a chance to climb above them. Win-win

Isn't he on loan from his current club to Deportivo, with an agreement for him to move here after the loan? I'm sure I remember it being something ridiculous like that.

    Do they want Fabbrini?

Honestly, Fabbrini would probably be quite well suited to Liga's football. But unfortunately he seems quite picky in agreeing to transfers.

Grenada currently 1-0 down to Sociedad at home. 67 minutes in and they've just hit the post

1-1! Grenada have been knocking on the door for the last 15 minutes and get a stonewall penalty. Moyes will be sweating now. Nervy last 15 mins ahead.

    FT.

Watched about 30 minutes of that and I have to saw I was pleasantly surprised by Granada. They passed the ball around rather well and had Sociedad defending like beevers for the entire time I was watching. They do lack a clinical, out-and-out striker though. Isaac Success looks like he could be a very good player one day. He held the ball up well and has tricky feet on him. With a decent strike partner along side him, there's no reason why Success couldn't be a success at Granada.

I'd also add that Granada rarely seem to get a drubbing from the opposition, when they lose it's usually by the odd goal or two which reaffirms the clinical striker opinion I think.

I watched only a part of it. Was El Arabi booed by fans when he was subbed by Success (whom, I agree, seems quite a lot promising)?

What a great Name that is 'Success'. I thought Granada played pretty well but as you say without a real cutting edge. Well at least they covered some of my betting losses for Saturday with a half time draw bet @ 3/1. Thought both penalties were soft especially the Sociedad one. There would be a penalty given at every corner in every game if those judgments were made.

Granada have parted company with their manager Joaquín Caparrós

Hopefully they can appoint someone decent and climb out of the relegation places.

Granada 1 Elche 0! A first win for the red and whites in God knows how long! Up to 17th in the league, but 20th and 19th have a game in hand.

    At last!
The table is so absurdly short that with a couple of wins they might climb it a lot.
    Three huge points.

Glad they won but Elche had 3 key players suspended and had a man sent off in the 70th minute. Hopefully this will give them some confidence but they don't score enough goals and the defence is as stable as ours
