Really important game for Granada tomorrow - playing away at Levante. Granada are 18th, Levante are 19th, both on 19 points. A win will take either team within one point of Elche in 17th, a loss will risk being cut adrift. Playing Barcelona on Saturday, so nothing likely from that, makes tomorrow even more important!
2-1 Levante FT. Absolutely awful result for Granada here, hard to see them coming back from this I'm afraid.
Lack of discipline cost them the game, 1-0 up then 2 red cards in the space of 7 minutes, followed by 2 goals 10 minutes later.
That is a terrible result. That was a huge game, and to be holding a lead and to show that lack of discipline is massively disappointing. Suspensions gained and points lost on a relegation battling rival. Not a good evening for Granada.
Here's Granada's first red. Harsh? Intent was there but no contact...
Oops. This was their first red.
At worst it's a trip, yellow card for the Granada player. At best it's a dive, yellow card for the Levante player. Never a red.
Agreed, at the very worst a trip and a yellow as there was no attempt for the ball. However the Levante bloke's second and third rolls merited a yellow card for cheating.
Three huge points for Granada tonight, beating Malaga 7th in table 1-0. Next week Rajo Vallecano. Hope is not lost!
From http://www.calciomercato.com/news/inter-che-investimento-per-murillo-767602 it says 8M€ + 2M€ for possible bonus (linked to 20 games played and EL cup qualification). 40% goes to the investment fund owning part of player's contract. He'll receive 1M€ per year at Inter for a 5-years contract (while at Granada he had 300k€ per year).
Hmm, would've thought it'd be more, always solid whenever I've seen him, young, regular at international level.
Granada 7-0 down to Real Madrid after 56 mins. There is a very good chance that the scoreline ends in double figures. Granada are as good as down. Absolutely no stomach for a fight by the sounds of it, and no goal scorer.
I'm sure this is a question that has been posed on here quite a few times, but if they go down and somehow we go up, I wonder how their fans would react to that?
Only 3 points from safety.....hardly a lost cause. RM will always be a damage limitation exercise, but unfortunately goal difference has taken a big hit today. They have 9 games to go, still plenty to play for.
God they were dire, just watched the last half hour, it could have been about 12, Ronaldo got 5 but missed a good 3 more.
