Global Werewolf - Day 3

I asked for the hints. Which I'd clearly missed. Which weren't provided. I fail to see how that is building momentum. Again, your behaviour stinks like wet wolf fur.

 

To be fair, and The Globe can confirm, I missed the deadline for voting and my vote would have no relevance so just voted Fes as that was already decided. There was no thought process behind it. Had I had til 8, I may have voted differently.

 

Looks like nothing other than protecting the Wolf

Guardian: One leader of the resistance developed a werewolf shield during the war, which lasts for an entire night.
Sadly, their resources are low but they can provide this shield to one chosen player each night.
Once a player has been been shielded, they are unable to be shielded again in future.
The Guardian can shield themselves if they wish.
If the Guardian is chosen by the wolf, the wolf will kill the Guardian after they have carried out their protection (unless the Guardian has of course protected themselves).

 

Why would The Seer not view Oslo, or not even reference him. Supposedly, a mason has just been named as Evil - to which that mason has revealed himself. If the Seer had viewed him as good, it would have put some of us at ease. Equally, Oslo is being eaten tonight whatever now, right? I won't be wasting a vote in that case.

 

Surely the wolf won't be there to protect as he's out on a kill?

 

OK. Those on Team Good. This is what I think we have to consider when looking at voting:
Day 1 - Oslo and Berlin knew Helsinki was good so thought that was the Seer’s message (Bad luck for us that the wolf randomly named a Mason). The voting was close so I think the Alpha would have voted for Krakow. Traitor may have waited for the alpha to vote and then voted the same way. Beta and Gamma (Cancun) had no more info than the rest of us.
Day 2 - the Alpha named Nairobi. Really doubt a wolf would name themselves, but doesn’t mean Nairobi isn’t evil - the wolf wouldn’t know. Momentum against Fes built up quickly towards the end of the day. This was led by Athens, who was having the finger of suspicion pointed at him. Question is, was that an innocent villager making a mistake or something more sinister? If I were a betting man, I’d say the traitor is to be found amongst those who voted for Fes.

 

Why would the Seer waste a good viewing on Oslo? If Oslo wasn't the mason then somebody would've come out and countered that, the only reason someone would claim to be a mason if they weren't was if they were team evil and it was near the end of the game.

If anything, Oslo clearly identifying that they were the mason ensured the Seer was able to look elsewhere. (Although it looks like the Seer picked up on this from yesterday)

Would the final mason risk revealing themselves and putting themselves out there to be eaten after being protected previously - wolf fodder if they did. What you say makes sense but the wolves are in a bit of a mess so I think usual tactics are well out of play at the moment.

Guess we'll find out tonight or tomorrow one way or the other.

 

Would have been a pointless viewing, considering most people had already picked up on this yesterday - although clearly not the Wolf, luckily.

If a wolf has said a player is evil, why would the seer then view them? Unless the alpha has made an unlikely mistake, the seer wastes their viewing on a player that is almost inevitably good.

 

Still don't get why Oslo outed himself. But think that it's safe to assume he is the Mason unless someone else steps forward and he's been playing a ridiculous bluff.

 

Check to see if Berlin challenged him...he didn't.

 

I had forgotten about Istanbul. Where are they? Flying under the radar somewhat.

 

Exactly. The Seer could have viewed him and he wouldn't have needed to. Rookie mason move in my view but a mason nonetheless. Just a shame as they've guaranteed both their own downfall and put us in a fix to determine who else to go for as it's pointless to vote for them now.

 

How do we check how many times someone has posted?

 

Presuming Berlin got munched as they said that Fes' death wasn't in vain, hinting they'd worked something out?

 

Go through and count them.

What's this all about - was Fes the traitor or is this to symbolise that the traitor voted for Fes?

 

Or the guardian. I still don’t get why they protected Moscow?

 

Athens and Istanbul haven't posted yet and Tokyo has posted once or twice pre-messages.

 

OK. I’ve looked back at the voting from Day 1. The voting was close which makes it more likely, in my view, that the Alpha would have voted for Krakow. He knew Krakow was good but would not have known whether Helsinki was good or evil. There was a chance, however unlikely, that he might have accidentally named an evil player so he would not have wanted Helsinki to be lynched. These are the players who voted for Krakow on Day 1:
Athens, Berlin, Fes, Helsinki, Jeddah, Nairobi, Oslo, Rio, Santiago
We know that Berlin and Oslo did so because they knew Helsinki was a fellow Mason and therefore good
We know that Fes and Rio (RIP to both) were good
So this leaves: Athens, Jeddah, Nairobi and Santiago
I believe the Alpha and possibly traitor can be found there

 

I wondered the same so looked back on Moscow’s posts. He was very vocal about suspecting Athens. I don’t know why the Guardian chose him but if a wolf had gone for him, it would actually have made me less suspicious of Athens as I would have thought he was being set up.

Don't know if you're evil or not but your posts today are being particularly unhelpful/nonsensical.

 

I cannot get my suspicions off Athens. I also cant put my finger on why but I would also be happy to vote for Jeddah. They have been very under the radar. Every post seems to not really offer any insight.

 

Ah apologies. I see you've already suggested that this means Fes was the tinker without knowing for sure. That's all you needed to say.

Remember, before voting got screwed up Helsinki had a considerable lead at one point so I'm concentrating on his line of voting.

Day 1: Votes for Helsinki: Cancun, Denver, Elche, Istanbul, London, Prague*, Quito, Tokyo, Venice, Zagreb - I believe evil voted here
Day 2: Votes for Fes: Athens, Berlin, Denver, Krakow, Quito, Rio, Santiago, Tokyo, Jeddah, Elche

Assuming we know some probably good players, that would leave Elche, Quito & Tokyo who possibly hid within the crowd both days.
