Make that played 2 won 2. Both winning goals scored as a result of his substitutions. And two of his new signings scoring already.

 

Are they his new signings or were we just given players in the position we needed?

Players on loan technically aren't on loan, so probably.

 

Why does he keep repeating the same point. And you can easily make room? He can't have it both ways. They are not fit for selection but they are also too many to choose from?

I imagine Zola was asked a leading question on this subject and thats why he said what he did. Context is everything.

 

Who gives a crap if he didnt ask for all the players.. last time I checked he still picked the first 11!

 

Like he has said before, sounds like he picked out areas where he wanted more depth in the squad, Nani/Pozzos etc have got him the players and now it's up to him to pick the team. If some of the players aren't going to get a look in then maybe they'll go back to their parent club in January.

 

Zola is listed as 'Head Coach' rather than Manager, something most European clubs do.

 

Because he keeps getting asked the same question!

 

What would Zola do ?

If Zola say became manager of lets say Wycombe.

If he insisted on great football with players incapable of doing so only in ten min blips in games would that be acceptable?

Is a good manager someone who applies his own footballing philosophy on a team or is iy a manager who can recognise a teams strengths and plays to them?

 

What kind of football do you think Swindon were playing a couple of years ago? They appointed a Paolo who insisted on football being played on the ground and it seems to have worked there. They are now recruiting players that fit that style as are we but if you think that takes 13 games then you are deluded. Oh wait......
We are trying to play this kind of footbal to fit into the Pozzo way. It then makes it easier for players to move around between clubs and also allows their magnificent scouting system to look for a certain style of player.
If you don't like it then so be it as unless we end up in the bottom 3 I don't see anything changing this season.

Would Zola go to Chelsea?

Although one day I think he will go there, would he be tempted at all if they did approach him in the near future now they need a manager?

There are only a handful of managers in the country who wouldn't take the Chelsea job - Ferguson, Wenger, Mancini and AVB.

So yes, of course he would. If he even had to think about it for a second he would be an idiot.

 

A source has legitimately told me that there are whispers about Zola and Chelsea. Could be someone winding up a Watford fan but when 'style of football is key for Roman' is mentioned, it does make me somewhat worried.
