Going back to today's Mexico match - I thought Eni Aluko was a very, very good pundit.

Typically German - probably go and win the whole thing now beating Brazil along the way in the 2nd round.

If Germany were doing their best England impression for the first game and half of this tournament, Sweden just pulled off a great Watford one at the death there.

Sweden were awful in the second half. The goal from that free kick was just inevitable.

How odd - looking at the England badge styles - someone at the FA's had a word with them. They don't do the sky-blue airtex Mexico '70 shirt I have any more? Also I seem to remember TOFFS getting in a very messy/legal spat" with the Dildo Brothers and Knicker Girl over the use of the team name having to sell their products as "Thames Iron Works".

Such is the commercialism of modern day sport and the desire (need) to claw every penny from your followers pockets.

I think though can't be certain in any way whatsoever, the reason clubs and national sides have changed badge designs in recent years is for copyright reasons.
I'm basing this theory on one particular hazy memory from some ten or so years ago when the West Indies cricket team changed their badge design because, and this is the foggy bit, they couldn't lay claim to the then current emblem so had no commercial rights over it. Change it and ker-ching! The money from sales and copyright on whatever the thing was on was theirs.

Didn't the gooners do this? In fact, didn't they try to copyright/trademark "gooners"?

Panama only a couple of minutes in for first bit of ridiculous play acting.

Is it possible we could play any slower? We don't have transitions we have evolution.

Must move the ball much quicker

Not a bad performance so far. No idea why Sterling is playing in this formation though. Vardy or Rashford much more suited.

Have Panama ever played football before?
Italy and Netherlands at home and they are 'competing'.
    Pathetic FIFA.

Panama are absolute bunch of ****s. No interest in playing the game properly.

Good performance but the opposition are an embarrassment. Hope we go for double figures.

I think we would if there was any need. It's 30 degrees, humid and we were never going to lose so why waste energy rushing like headless chickens? I expect the passing and movement in the second half to be positively glacial.

Learned a few things at least in this half. Don't take off Kane. Don't let Delph or Rose near the pitch.

Good news. But if we had the goal we could not draw with Belgium and lose the lead in the group.

I dont think we've been that good Really, including the first half. I certainly disagree that this has been an impressive England performance. Kanes 3rd was a total fluke yet already the hype on social media about his hat trick is cringeworthy.

Panama are a South American taverna team and the scoreline reflects that.
