FA Cup Semi-Final - Ticket/Travel Details

Such as sending everyone on this board a message, saying "Don't post pictures of other people's names and Fan ID's on a public forum" for instance.

 

Yeah that was a mistake I admit, but that just reinforces my point that there is something fundamentally flawed about the ticketing system if people can just assign tickets to others through IDs of people they don't know (at least in Robert Peel's case it was a friend of a friend). Maybe include extra fields, such as email address, memorable name etc?

Anyway, mine has just arrived so panic over!

 

In order to add someone to your list, you need their surname and fan ID number, which is why it's not a good idea to make them public. You can't just pick a number or name at random and add it. However, once you've got someone added to your network, there's nothing to stop you assigning tickets to it, or buying tickets using it, without their knowledge.

 

This of course is true but the reason for doing it is so you can buy 4 tickets together as an example. Otherwise we would buy them all individually and not sit anywhere near each other.
I would suggest that when someone does buy tickets for friends with fan ID's as well as their own it should trigger an automated email to each fan. That way you not only all have confirmation of the purchase but if there is anything untoward you can report it.

My ticket arrived today, good to see them sending them out well in advance. No last minute panic and they can deal with the later batches with less pressure. Someone has actually thought it through. :sign15:

 

Yep... ive got the hump and bet im probably not alone, up up in the nose bleed section and would have loved to be on the lower tier. i dunno what could have been done to avoid it, but now any late comers get the pic of some great seats.

about 4,300 left I reckon, so 27,000 sold. Not too bad, all lower section sold apart from about 40 in the newly released section; in the upper tier nothing really left in front 15 rows (20 rows in some sections), so it won't look too bad.

 

Tickets, flight and hotel sorted. €140 all in or £110 pound for you lot, not too bad!

 

Agreed. Even though I'm happy with my seats that's a kick in the teeth for those who aren't and got in early.

 

So us jammy gits that were skint til yesterday get a decent seat!!!

 

WTF - another load of lower tier tickets released in 124 and 142.

 

I presume it's just more of the FA allocation.

 

Very annoyed. I'm near the front of the Gods tier, but would have much preferred those tickets.

 

The map on the eticketing website seems to have been updates, and a lot seem to have gone in the last 2 days. So many that it doesn't look quite right to me...

5 weeks have passed since the Arsenal victory, this is dragging on and on....

 

Very very odd. All of the back rows in the upper tier appear to have been taken. In fact, so few left , I counted them - just over 600. Have the club treated some local schools perhaps?

There's no way we've suddenly sold that many tickets over the weekend, unless a 1-0 win at WBA inspires people to go.

 

It looks like they've taken all the cheapest tickets of sale though the Watford copper told me in Brum Sat that we have sold 28,000 tickets.

My office landlord bought 4 over the weekend, and his mate bought another 4 (we are in Harrow) so maybe they have shifted a fair few.

That's a bit odd isn't it? Ticketmaster messing around with releasing blocks again I suppose. No wonder the reported sales figures didn't tally with what appeared on the seating plan.

Hi there

Just after a bit of advice. I've just been offered a ticket that was going spare with some old watford friends and would prefer to sit with them... If I accept their offer, I would be left paying for two tickets unless I can sell the one I originally bought.

Any ideas of how I can sell my ticket (or if ticketmaster take tickets back - doubt it). It's a pretty decent seat too, in Block 124?

Any advice would be most welcome.
