I've always found them polite and efficient - several times this season I have upgraded either my father's or my daughter's ST for a mate. Maybe they don't speak grunt.

TO always been ok with me. Have refunded match tickets for me in the past for games I couldn't get to anymore - no sob story needed and they weren't obliged to do it.

I've had to call the ticket office twice this season and both times they were efficient and polite.

Ditto. Never had any problems with them and they've always done their best to help out in my experience.

it's good to know they treat some of our fan base with respect then.
Haven't got time for them, thank god most things are done online these days.

Palace are still allowing people to sign up as members. Sales are 'progressing well'.

Only 1000 have purchased tickets as of 4pm today, shocking if true.

Yeah, though they're hamstrung by similar buying arrangements to us with multiple categories and have actually added in a new category on the end because they didn't anticipate selling out I presume.

23,025 sold, so 3,000 sold since group C (25,000) became eligible. That's basically anyone who has ever been to a league match at VR or an away match has now had a chance to buy. We won't sell out and neither probably will Palace. Palace are extending deadlines and creating new categories - I wouldn't be surprised if Watford allow new IDs to be created and to be eligible.

In fact, if we sell say 25,000 and Palace say 28,000 that's only 53,000. I can't imagine Club Wembley will be heaving either. I guess they'll just have to make sure the cameras don't pan up.

Should be being held at Villa Park.

Having the semis at Wembley undermines the FA Cup in every possible way.

Not true! Flown over for two away games and one at home this season (although didn't buy through the club) and I have to wait until Monday to get mine.

Not sure the club can do general sale with newly created Fan IDs GOBE. I suspect the FA prohibit it.

    Sounds like it doesn't it!

Sales have slowed up a lot more than I thought they would. May have something to do with the stunning performances of late!

that may be because it's £25 to sign up as a member and only members are allowed tickets, coining it in

Agreed, although with 2 London clubs I would suggest the Emirates would be more suitable.

Did you get to the bottom of this in the end and find out who it was?

You are required to give both a fan ID and a Surname to buy the ticket, so they would either have to know both bits of information, or the ticket office has messed up...

Could have messed up. I had a couple of random people listed as 'friends' on my profile. I had their full name and fan ID's. No idea who they were or how they got on my profile.

Yes, it was a friend of a friend who we booked tickets with ages ago. I was on his Friends and Family list, which he said he thought was a "system error" so he used it. Also used it for the Arsenal cup game, which I didn't go to. Personally, I'd have checked before using it.

After a 30 minute wait, the Ticket Office said they'd ring him and check my story out, then ring back. In the meantime my mate text the bloke who gave the story above and apologised. They never rang back, so another 30 minutes on the phone and they didn't seem to have tried to ring him. I said I'd been in contact with him and it was done in error, so they cancelled and refund it, so I could book again.

Matey boy has been blocked in my account in case of future "system errors".

Cheeky barsteward! I think it works so that every time you buy a ticket for someone or they assign one to you you're automatically on each other's Friends list. I had a purge last summer and deleted a few but recently agreed to let someone else use my ID. He's now appearing on my list again. It's certainly open to misuse if people are so minded though the time saving in return in probably worth the risk.

Oh, and we've noticed some strange activity on your [insert high credit limit account here], so if you could just give me the access details to your passbook app I'll be able to clear up the mess/clear out your funds in a couple of ticks...

Totally agree, but with two Southern clubs, why not have it at the Emirates. 60K capacity would guarantee a full house. I hate the semi's being at Wembley.

Is anybody driving to this? (I assume im talking to non herts based horns here - a Villa park semi would have been lovely for me!)
If so where is the best parking ? I don't fancy the millions of pounds to park at Wembley itself

Also not a fan of semi's at Wembley - imagine were 3-0 up 80th minute (all goals scored by Jurado) chanting "que sera sera we going to wembley (again)" not really the same

Go somewhere reasonably close and get the train/tube. I'm getting the train, presuming I get a ticket tomorrow.

Iv been looking at a few options close to Wembley but outside the police cordon so a bit easier getting out afterwards.
I would have thought you'd be fine tomorrow - out of interest which group is going on sale tomorrow? Cat C?

Going to Stanmore is usually alright. Car park isn't big but locals sell parking spots on their drive ways & I'm sure there are probably places to park that are a walkable distance from the station. Takes 10 mins on the tube from Stanmore.
