None of us has the first clue about what the result will be. Even taking away unknown variables like referee decisions and injuries, we haven't seen the team (whatever it may be!) perform in a competitive fixture. We don't know which Everton will turn up or if their reported injury crisis is just a smokescreen. In truth, we're no better informed than the pundits we've been laughing at.

1-0 Everton. Or something else, probably.

Really have no clue what to expect today..
Just want to see a good performance from the team and decent tactical awareness from the manager.

Score early and we could really upset the home crowd who seem a little on edge due to their lack of signings.

Safe trip to anyone travelling for the game.
I'll be watching this one in the everton supporters bar 'Murrays' in Dublin with my two everton supporting brothers.

    Come on you 'orns!!

Hungover but the excitement is curing me. I'm 20 so this is my first prem season that I can truely follow. I couldn't convince my dad to drive us to Liverpool though.

I think we are going to shock a few pundits today (hopefully) I think we might edge it if Everton are without stones mirallas lukaku.

Just looking at some bets, HT Watford FT Draw at 16/1 looks decent value as does Jurado FGS at 14/1.

I think we'll win, would take a draw. Don't want to see a forum meltdown if we lose.

    Daily Mails predicted team haha.

Even better, the first line under it: Watford will be without suspended defender Miguel Britos for their Barclays Premier League return at Everton on Saturday.

I'm hoping they all play as I don't want to give all those pundits any excuses. It's about time they learned we tore up their rule book the day Watford became a Pozzo club.

In the meantime get down the bookies and clean them out while you can (and this from someone who hardly bets), the incredible value on us won't last past five o'clock.

Bit gutted Doyley and Hibbert are both injured. That'd be a great match up.

When did we sign Marko Marin ?

Typical shoddy journalism yet again. You should send this in to the sports editor at the paper and ask why it is so poor.

I really don't care enough, I find it funny to be honest. Pathetic journalists, they're paid to do this.

Thing is, this is a hobby of ours and I think I could put most players in the right positions for all PL teams, if not most Championship teams, without even having google. Yet this is somebodys JOB, they're paid to get the facts right. I'm a bit speechless about it all to be honest.

Can't believe the coaches have gone via the M6 - it's been at a standstill for months due to roadworks.

Yeah we detoured onto A34 around Stoke...I'll be surprised if they make it by kick off

M6 is always awful, club should have recognised that.

Jugs, a genuine question. My sister is considering going up to the Manchester City match on a club coach, possibly on her own if none of her fellow Brighton-based Watford fans are going. I've never gone to a match this way. Would you recommend it?

Edit: (presuming that, by then, the drivers have done their homework re routes)

    Still about 50odd miles left.

    Ridiculous decision

Polyester clad Watford m*ng has broken down on the outside lane of the M6

I've passed it now but most are still behind, he's brought it to near standstill!

Would imagine most of our fans won't make 3pm

I feel bad that I didn't think of this earlier, but maybe it might be an idea for fans who have local knowledge to give travelling fans a heads up in future. Why would a Watford coach driver know that the M6 is *****ed for the next six months?

  34. Hornet23

    Hornet23 First Team

What? They'd plan the route surely?

  35. King Dev

Course they bloody would it's their job. I travel round the country for work and generally every motorway is ****ed. Everyone knows the M6, especially past Birmingham, is a mess at the best of times.
