It is shameful, absolutely shameful. Kyle Walker has looked the only international quality player, the others bar the likes of Rashford are a disgrace. This is the worst ever England performance I have witnessed in my 30 odd years. We voted out of the EU, not the Euro's you ****s.
I think we should congratulate the England team on helping us to an historic, never before seen achievement. We're the first team in history to have exited Europe twice in one tournament. Incredible.
Agree with Arakel, Rashford actually ran with it in a forward direction. Ha ha, and gone out of Europe twice! ;D
They should all hold their heads in their hands, that was the most shocking display I have seen from an England team in many a year. Hart, ****e Both full backs ****e Midfield ****e Harry Kane gets a special mention ****e Rooney should retire now ****e And as for Woy! Troy dodged a bullet there
Glad that's over, Hodgson and the players yet again should hold their heads in shame at another pathetic tournament. We qualified with 3 games to spare so up until the Russia game we had effectively 10 friendlies to build a platform for the tournament and that is unforgivable. I can understand being a bit edgy in the first group match but we have looked decided poor all over the park. It was clear after the Russia game that Sterling and Kane were in poor form/knackered. Wilshire was clearly not match fit. I can't be arsed to go on.
The worst performance I can remember. Walking football at times, no movement. If Kane is the only "Set piece expert" we have then God help us. Sh*t. Good luck to Iceland for the rest of it though.
Hope those that were defending the useless Hodgson now agree with the rest of us. He is deluded and useless. I wonder if he will finally be a real man in the post match interview rather than bigging himself up??
Told you so. When we stop picking the side based on marketing value and boot deals, we might challenge the likes of Iceland.
I don't think it's a coincidence that all these Premier League players were all simultaneously terrible. I mean what was the bloody plan? Everyone looked completely lost.
Congrats to Iceland. Totally deserved that. They out-thought us and out-fought us. Roy outwitted by a opposition that has a part-time dentist on the bench. Says it all. We are truly dreadful.
To be fair I would rather lose to an enthusiastic nation who love it rather than a team who dive and go for game management like Portugal or Argentina. I don't begrudge them their success at all.
That was shocking! Missed the first half but don't think we had a shot in the half I saw. If anything Iceland had more.. There is losing and then there is just losing without even having a go.. P45 for Roy and some real sole searching. Fair play to Iceland.
Can't really put that into words. Rooney put in the worst individual performance from a footballer I have ever seen. Had Kane been on the ball more I'm sure he would have rivalled him. Hodgson is a spineless f**king coward. Awful manager, a chancer and an absolute embarrassment that he was ever allowed to be England manager. He knew how bad we've been prior to this game. He may have tried to spin it to the fans and the media, and in some cases it worked, but he knew and he did f**k all. He reckoned he could get through to the quarter finals, park the bus against France, lose one or two nil and get himself a knew multi-million pound contract. Job done. He couldn't even do that. At this stage the only thing that could lower my opinion of him further is if he hasn't already handed in his resignation.
Obvious you haven't watched Argentina over the last few years then. Dive ? Game management ? Chile are the experts at rolling around, getting into the referee and pleading for cards to be brandished. English players of course never dive either. Blessed prima donnas.
I honesty wouldn't be surprised if Hodgson is still harbouring outside hope he gets another contract as he is a "safe pair of hands" for World Cup qualifying or some such nonsense.
No ones talking to the media, well there's a surprise! So who is next in line for the Job, I hear Zola is now free.
Tyldesley was rather condescending towards to Iceland from the start. And didn't stop throughout the match. It's not as if they haven't beaten decent opposition before in the last couple of seasons.
Still doesn't detract from the point of your archaic view of Argentine football. The issue of the tax evasion which was explained to you and wilfully ignored because it doesn't chime in with your perception has nothing to do with your as usual incorrect assumptions. Namely you have barely watched Argentina in action over the last few years yet spout utter rubbish.
