Two Swiss players in now, I wonder if they have been on the phone to Inler, to tell him what he is missing out on, and to maybe reconsider.
Now we just need to sign Swiss Tony! Playing football for the Orns is like making love to a beautiful woman. ......
Good reaction from West Ham fans, they seem impressed... http://www.kumb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=159033
The tendency to be underwhelmed owes a lot to it not being a glamour signing. I like it. This for me is a safer signing than Capoue.
It's funny , out of all the players linked and signed , this is the only one I've really ever heard of , and he isn't rated How far have we come...
Often the signings end up performing in exactly the opposite order you expected. The unglamorous player becomes a fans' favourite and the so called marquee signing is quietly forgotten or becomes hated. Upon paper this seems a sensible signing for a club who may need to scrap to win points.
Similar story with Capoue - 14 points from 12 games with him featuring at Spurs last season, 50 from 26 without. Don't worry though, they'll both be cancelled out by the lucky charm that is Stambouli - an impressive 29 points out of the 12 Spurs games he was involved in! Stats like this mean next to nothing without the context of the team's form, quality of the opposition etc - they're just being used selectively by this one Hamburg fan to scapegoat a player. I'm sure he wasn't the only one responsible for their poor form when he played - surely the other ten blokes on the pitch had some bearing on it. He has, however, only been sent off 3 times in 249 club games throughout his career too so the refs obviously don't see whatever that bloke was worried about. I'm quietly optimistic about this one and most of the West Ham fans seem to have good things to say about him.
Great Behrami stat from last year https://twitter.com/ForeverHornets/status/619976997087916032/photo/1
Talk of Behrami possibly leaving in January. Napoli said to be interested. http://www.tuttoudinese.it/watford/watford-behrami-verso-il-ritorno-in-italia-37466
I like Behrami, hope he stays and would play him instead of Watson when fit. Also the loan with possibility to buy quote would be a rubbish deal for us, unless he is desperate to leave it would seem a strange move.
That would be very foolish, can't see why he'd want to go just yet anyway. Unless he's not injured and being dropped for some BTS reasons.
I think this is more paper talk. I would get he's not going to want to be benched but if he wasn't injured (And if Ben wasn't doing such a good job, suprisingly) he'd certainly have had more games than he's had recently.
Hardly like he's been shut out. Just suspension and injuries. Expect him to make 10+ more starts this season at least.
