Bakary Sako Seen we've been linked with him on Twitter, not sure if there's anything in it, but would love him here as our LWB. A beast of a player, young, loads of potential, and worth shelling out on. I still think LWB is a position where we are short of someone who can go past defenders and cause problems in behind. Any more credible sources to this?
I've heard he rolls around a lot. Has a tendency to loaf around, so he kneads a good kick up the backside every now and again. Passing can occasionally be crumby. Having said that, if teams don't handle him, they're toast.
I can't see him playing at lwb, may be a winger but very much an attacking one. Think he managed to give away more than one penalty last season from his position too, however he is a great player and in a 3-5-2 he'd probably be at striker position.
Fulham were also interested in him but reportedly now they have upped their offer for Darren Bent, which could mean that he is off their radar. Coming here then?
Dear god, yet another ridiculous case of everyone presuming an attacking winger can also instantly play at wing back. The guy is class going forward but he would get absolutely torn to shreds defensively.
Would have combined well with Mark Yeaste if we hadn't off loaded him. Really would have risen up the league then.
No, it's not. Just because it worked with Anya really, really doesn't mean the same will apply to everyone. If it were as easy and simple as just coaching any player to play in any position you fancied then everyone would do it.
If we have made an offer for him then the management clearly feel they can turn him into a LWB. Otherwise why bother? We wouldn't spend millions on a player who can't fit into the system
If the club is supposidly spending millions on a player they are not just going to waste it if they see something then I trust them
But it could work. Maybe they think it can with Sako. He has ability so yes it can be coached if he is willing to learn.
I've been told by a wolves supporting friend that he's lazy and doesn't like to come back and defend. Now whether that's down to him or being in a team at the bottom is up for debate.
Agreed. There's no knead to spend the amount of dough being rumoured. Probably a half baked idea anyway.
He had steam coming out the top if his head when being interviewed after drawing against us on the tv. It's a yes from me.
Now that interest in Bakery Sacko has wained, I've learned that Butcher Boxo might be available, as long as we can meat his transfer release cause.
And Garibaldi Kandelstickmacher. Ondrej Chovanek says says he's ready to move up from the Czech Republic's Liga da Sud Wejt Hertz Premierj.
Rumour that Forest are after him! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...Bakary-Sako-Wolves-2m-deal.html#ixzz2bKAPsRxN
