Worked back in the days when the Vicarage Road end was the home stand and the away fans in The Rookery, that stopped about 10 years ago, but i much preferred it when my S/T was unreserved.

i thought the atmosphere in the Vic Road End was generally pretty good for a few years after the new stand was built in the early 90s even if the football wasn't always.

I remember nights like V Wolves in i'd say 94 when Jonno volleyed that amazing late winner when the roof nearly came off the stand. Other amazing noises were when literally every man, woman and child sang 'Elton Johns Taylor made army' the day after Diana's funeral (rip) It was honestly so loud and moving it made the hairs on your neck stand up. Also Bazely 96th minute equaliser v scum was awesome noise and mental celebrations.

For whatever reason i don't think weve every created that much noise from the Rookery, possible exception v Palace in play offs that is it.

That is the only game I can remember the Rookery being loud from start to finish of the game. There has been moments where it has been loud but only for periods in the game. The only one I can think of this season is the second half of the Ipswich game coming from 1-0 down and how JJO'T turned the game around.

I remember I was in the rookery for the leicester game last season, we were decent for the 2nd half:)
