The reason Hoskins spat out his Dummy is because MM said to him"Sorry your not my cup of Tea player" and Hosks was playing well at the time. MM does not like Hoskins as a player and has made it clear he will also be going.
I'm not a big fan of Hoskins but if we let him go, who is going to score the goals for us if we also sell Smith & Priskin (plus no Rasiak)?
Ah yes, it's back to my favourite time of the year when all of our stupid or doom-mongering fans assume that we're going to sell all our players while forgetting to buy any replacements.
Assume? I think you need to have another read of my thread, I asked who would play up front if Hoskins, Smith & Priskin weren't with us next season.
My point is that obviously we'd sign someone else, so that kind of panic-causing speculation is pointless.
Thing is with Hoskins you cant expect him to be the lone striker role if he gets ball in the air against the likes of Jaidi. Then after the match Rodgers saying that he is a 2nd striker etc. Then why play him up there in the first place :forehead: he wasnt very good under Rodgers. But till Malky was in charge he was playing well consistently scoring a few and assisting. He played well upfront when he had a partner up there in either Priskin or Rasiak as he is good at linking play.
Boo hoo, poor old Hoskins. Rasiak got told that too, difference is he's professional enough to get his head down and prove the manager wrong rather than sit around sulking. Well certainly not Hoskins, because he's garbage.
