Anti-Semitism

I think all but 2 of the people who've run sub 10 seconds on 100m in history are not just black, but specifically black, West African heritage (Frankie Fredericks and Christophe Lemaitre the only exceptions). I'm sure there's even more specific genealogy involved (ie. From select tribal heritage eg. Ashanti). There's a similar correlation between distance runners and peoples's from the great Rift Valley in East Africa.

It's not racist, anymore than saying that Portuguese people are, on average, far shorter than Dutch and so less likely to be good basketball players other high jumpers.

However, to say that Jews are all predisposed to be money grabbing scum is racist, because one is about physiology and one is about character. Also one is completely untrue and demonstrably so.

 

Blimey Godfather think it through for heaven's sake. How can you possibly not have noticed anti-semitism? Did you spend the 20th century in a coma?

 

As a child I lived in some far flung places like Nigeria and Aberdeeen and of course the Isle of Man but even in Hemel Hempstead with a Jewish best friend I never encountered it, it really seems to be a mostly adult theme. After returning to the SE in the eighties I did hear a fair bit regarding greed etc. but nothing compared to the treatment of blacks and Asians, it really was tame in comparison. From 1989 to 2004 I lived in Germany, surprisingly who's folk seemed far more tolerant of other races and here up on the Wirral the subject is very rarely broached although Israel still gets plenty of scorn for it's politics.

So there you have it, we know it's there and for sure they are are targeted by Muslims everywhere but IMO a lot of screaming is directed at the wrong people who mostly couldn't care less. FFS they still bang on about the holocaust as if it were yesterday.

Anti-semitism is like being a Watford supporter...

A) the vast majority of people have no opinion on Waford and will take it as it comes
B) a small, but very vocal, minority have a negative opinion about Watford although they do not have a clue about the facts. It becomes hugely tiresome having to correct the opinions that this minority has formed based on incorrect information
C) there is an even smaller minority with a real axe to grind. Those that are quite happy to see Watford obliterated and will do anything they can to make that happen. Again their opinion is based on no facts but often a lack of education

Don't underestimate that last section, I'm sure there are many Muslims that would celebrate Israel's destruction and it's a massive threat ... However it really has nothing to do with Labour politics or boxers being deliberately obnoxious only for publicity. That in my opinion is minor shit that you need to rise above or your reputation as whingers will only grow.
