a big disappointment how his form dropped away. on tuesday night it was quite demoralising watching the right hand side of the pitch. neither parades or nyom showed much in the way of attacking inclination and every time the ball was passed out wide it always just ended up back in the middle. one of the bigger disappointments of the pozzo era signings really, had very high expectations.
Not sure how reliable... http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/08/2...ee-la-liga-clubs-want-watford-defender-allan/
Yea, but you thought Nyom looked great from his first matches. What is to say Kabasele won't be worse than Nyom?
What has that got to do with anything? At the moment Nyom is **** and adds nothing to the squad and is in fact a huge liability. Kabasele looks like he could at the very least do a job if required.
If we get a good enough offer I expect he'll be gone. I doubt Walter's seen much to impress him from Nyom so far.
Because you are saying Kabasele can do a job based on 1 game of football, yet based on a few games last year you though Nyom was fantastic. 1 game of football isn't enough to know whether someone is going to be a good option in the PL.
Personally I thought Kabasele looked bloody shaky the other night too. Nyom and Parades to go, and I'd keep Tommie and Prodl as back up to Britos Cathcart and Kaboul Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Those are my thoughts too. I genuinely enjoyed watching Nyom up to the New Year last season, he was superb in defence and as an overlap. What the **** happened since then? Parades has always flattered to deceive from day 1.
Nyom posted the words 'dernier jour' (last day) on his instagram story. Don't know if it necessarily means at Watford, but with the window closing on Wednesday and the need to cut the number of foreign players that's one possible interpretation.
Who is going to bid for him? He has been horrendous and we have now tied him down on a 4/5 year contract. What if no one goes in for him then we are stuck with him for that amount of time?
Then it costs some money. Whoopy-do. If we stay in the PL it's going to be peanuts and if we go down I'm sure there's a relegation clause reducing his wages accordingly. Of course if just one club bids for him on loan the loan fee could cover most of his wages for the next 4 years, meaning we basically have him for free. And the Pozzos have proven extremely adept at finding loan moves for our unneeded players when there's call for it. He had a good reputation at Granada so I'd expect a Spanish move to be a shoe in.
Get a grip. Did you go to games at beginning of last season? He was immense for 1st few games and he has a pretty high regard in Spain( not sure about Italy). If you think we will get nothing for him you are bonkers. He has played against(and done well) against Rinakdo and other top strikers. His value does not drop to 0 because of a poor half season. I would hope we send him on line as has potential to be a quality defender
With Maps now on board, Nyom has to be so far down the pecking order that he'll need to take the lift, climb three ladders and run up 4 flights of stairs just to see the substitutes bench.
Some astute analysis from West Brom fans on their message board. There's no fooling those Baggies, is there? They know just why we're selling.. I don't usually do smilies, but in this case I'll make an exception
Good luck to him, I wish him all the best! His season with us was mirrored by the team; excellent first half, poor second.
Yep owes us nothing, hope he does well and deserves a polite round of applause when he plays at the Vic. It's interesting how powerful the Premiership us as you would think his game would suit Spain more than the Pullis style.
Actually I think that blocking the excellent WDSports shows him to be really immature and a bit thin skinned. I mean, who blocks someone on Twitter just because they've been criticised?
You are joking of course? WD Sport have blocked their own audience for questioning some of their articles in the past. I got blocked by them for questioning an article last summer on Troy Deeney when they were slating him for being on a goal scoring drought from pre-season :happy1:
Yes but when a responsible journalist is harangued for revealing the truth it can be necessary for them to insulate themselves from people who hate investigative journalism. Otherwise they run the risk of losing focus.
