Got to be Mooney. Although I was tempted to say either Cedric Avinel or Moses Ashikodi, for their tremendous contribution.

Been going to Watford for over 30 years so I'm going to choose a player from each decade: -
    John Barnes

Favourite all time player: Tommy Mooney for his goals and performances during our double promotion in late 90s. That goal against Bristol Rovers when he just bulldozed his way through their defence before jumping into the Vic Road end. The winner at Anfield was one of my best days ever as a Watford fan. A bit cliched, but he played like a fan would.

    Other mentions:

John Barnes: By common consensus the most skillful ever player to pull on a Watford shirt. A nice bloke as well, despite what some might say.

Luther: My hero as a kid. Club legend.

Andy Hessentiler (can't spell his bloody name) A bit like Mooney gave us years of unflinching commitment. Just looked like he was so happy to be playing pro' football having come into game late. Loved him kicking off with the L*ton players during some of the derby games in the 90s. Gave his all and got some undeserved abuse from us when he left IMO.

Craig Ramage: was a hero of mine in early/mid 90s when there was not a great deal of hope. Delighted and frustrated in equal measures, but I loved his swagger.

    Tony Coton: Nutter. Legend.

Can't believe I'm on my own with Ross Jenkins (the original one, obviously). While I personally would easily have Cally in a Top 5 I can't believe all the votes for him since I remember him being booed roundly by many towards the end of his career at Watford. Lastly, I'm surprised that Coton has had almost all the keeper votes and Sherwood not a mention. Other notable absentees are Pat Rice, Gerry Armstrong and Malcolm Poskett (ok, maybe not the last but he did do Vydraesque run of scoring a bunch of braces)
