Totally agree Vic (I sense we are both fellow members of the Healey appreciation society!) I feel we need sensible solid characters as signings if we do make any next month. This is no longer the environment or the team into which to be adding mavericks or anybody who may potentially rock the boat.
This would be such an unusual arrangement even by our standards. The lad should just sign up for a Saudi team if he has any sense whatsoever. I fear he does not.
I agree with this. We appear to have ended up with a team of decent characters. They have their limitations, but are improving through good teamwork. We’ve seen how poor they can be when affected by the behaviour of a few individuals with an elevated sense of their own importance. It’s a risk not worth taking to add anyone who might upset that right now.
I fear you may be losing your pun mojo. It feels like a long time since any of them came anywhere near the quality of the 'road easier' pun of the season.

Tbf we have two strikers who are performing well this season, and another who scored his first goal recently. Sure, none of them are the finished article, but you have to pay top dollar (say, £5m) to get a striker who does do everything in this division
On strikers, someone like Kiefer Moore would be ideal for us. Someone who would likely be available and within our price structure. He’d be a big upgrade on Rajovic as the ball would stick better when we play it forward. A player of that profile would give us better forward mobility I feel. According to Mittyorns, we’re after 3 players in this coming window with Healey and Louza on their way out.
Really hope that if Healey goes it's only on loan because there is an exciting player in there I think.
