I agree. Would be fantastic to beat them though in are final home game. Shame are last two games are so difficult - but this is the new Watford so who knows.

You could see at the end of game Chalobah was so happy. No doubt a mixture of both personal pride and team pride. If he can continue improving we might well have very tidy player back on our hands!

And he can put a corner into the right area as well. A relief to see someone to do that. Adds another much needed dimension to the team.

First & foremost I would like to believe GT was looking down today. Loved the tribute on 72mins, hard to believe it's been 3 years.

Never did I think I'd ever say that out of the 2 ex Chelsea lads out on the pitch today, I'm pleased we got NC instead of NA.

One of the nicest things about today is I know we can still play significantly better. NP & CS have now bread the belief & confidence back to the squad, telling them to take shots on goal, allow your opponents to make mistakes. That is what has bred the goals, the clean sheets & they are doing it in that GT low key & humble manner.

I am left thinking what might be possible for the future with these guys at the helm.

What a wonderful and vital win. This is not only a victory, but a statement of intent. Foster only had one real save to make early in the first half, apart from that Bournemouth hardly laid a glove on us. It was all about can we take our chances, which we emphatically did. Could have been an even bigger win had Gerri and Sarr taken reasonable chances.

Consider we were without the rejuvenated Kabs, Kiko and Hughes, that was magnificent. Bournemouth bleated a lot about their injuries, but Ake and Wilson played for them. They didn't look too weak to me. We just bossed them and there was only ever going to be one winner today.

It's all going to plan, but the job's not done yet. We need to keep this up, but now we're out of the bottom three, I do not see us going back there. From the position we are now in, we are on equal terms to those around us. We are a better team than those around us, so I expect us to now pull away from those teams. Our biggest problem was could we play catch up, and the answer is an absolute YES.

Hopefully the doubters will have a quiet day today. The Deeney and Pereyra boo boys will be having a day off. That was about as complete an away performance as you'll ever see. There was not one mistake, not one bad day at the office from a single player.

Well done Watford, you deserve all the plaudits that come your way after this fantastic run of form. I thought Pearson could inspire us, so I'm not amazed at our form, but 13 points from 15 is still worth emphasising. The transformation is astounding, and to those outside the club must be thinking how on earth can it happen. Is Pearson really that good? Well the answer is a combination of things. We do have very good players and very good characters. It was bizarre we were doing so badly before and was a massive underachievement from the talent we had. It just goes to show, if you can get into heads of a team, be a leader and get them believing in you, how far you can go. Pearson walked into a good club, but one that was down on it's luck. He has used his strengths which was the missing ingredient. He is a perfect fit for Watford, and Watford are a perfect fit for him. Long may that continue.

On the day the great Graham Taylor passed, I hope he's able to look down and this would have put a smile on his face.

That was the best game I’d ever see Capoue play for us. He was an absolute monster today he was into everything defensively and leading the press in the last few minutes. By far our MOTM today.
Also huge praise for Dawson and Masina. They were excellent.

That was Ake's first game back after being out for 6 weeks, and suggestions were that he'd been rushed ahead of schedule due to the important to the match. He definitely looked out of sorts today, usually he's annoyingly excellent against us.

    What a day, honestly.

One of Troy's best performances in a Watford shirt. Sarr & GD caused them constant problems down the wings. Capoue, Doucs & Nate all did their jobs in the middle, pressed them high up the pitch and the passing was immaculate. Masina & Mapps, both superb defensively. Possibly Masina's best game in a Watford shirt? Dawson & Cathcart were rock solid, this was the kind of thing we were hoping for when we signed Dawson in the Summer. Foster didnt't even have much to do, but his catching & distribution was very good. Fair play to Pereyra aswell, came on and put in a shift. Scored a cracking goal too.

Three years since the death of GT, he would've been proud of this performance. The players & coaching staff have all played there part in this, absolutely superb.

What a way to end the weekend.

As well as the team absolutely schooling Bournemouth, worth pointing out that Mike Dean was excellent today. Let the game flow, didn't buy any of the dives, gave yellows for the two bad tackles in the game.

    WHAT a team performance!!!

Sometimes you find yourself watching one player more than others, for whatever bizarre reason.

    Masina. Imperious imho.

Shame that Man City, unlike us, weren't good enough to keep a clean sheet, but I suppose I mustn't be greedy.

Are we all mad keen Norwich fans now, for a bit?

I wouldn't get that carried away, even an underperforming Spurs isn't easy and Bournemouth and Villa have winnable games next week, so even a point could see us back in the relegation zone. Still as long as the players continue to train hard, at least try to do what's asked of them and give 100%, that's basically all we can ask of them, and it looks like it's going to be enough to do the job in the end.

Opinion or not, those ratings should warn me to take any from Sky with a sizable grain of salt in future.

Maybe I'm biased, but with the exception of Ake (disagree with lowerrous - he was the difference between a 0-3 and an even heavier defeat for the Cherries) none of their players should have been awarded the same ratings as any of our lot, let alone higher.
