What's frustrating is that with Stoke and Swansea having difficult final fixtures even a point (which would have moved us above Everton) would have meant a win would have all but guaranteed us a top half place. And easy it is for many to forget, we did look rather good for the first 10-15 minutes last night...
it was all panning out quite nicely... we went 0-1 up, sunderland beating everton to halt them in their tracks, and in doing so giving themselves nothing to play for against us in the last game as they'd be safe.... then all the wheels came off. so so frustrating!
So with Stoke's unexpected win v WHU we'd have needed 51 points for 10th which to be honest was never really on At least those that had us for top promoted club can enjoy their winnings (edit: lol, when I typed this I knew nothing about the bomb scare so I guess not yet ... theoretically Muff could beat MU by ten clear goals)
Got my top promoted club winnings. ,avoiding relegation long time back but what was a nice bonus was getting some dosh for each way 47 point handicap. Bearing in mind we are seen as a club in crisis going wrong way after 'sacking' Flores and before signings announced might be good to get on an avoiding relegation odds for2016/17 as soon as is possible Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
Bet Fred still not paid up for the Handicap Place bet. I assume they will tonight when the season is formally over
