I would try either Garner / Deeney or Garner / Beattie.

Agreed, it would be like watching a couple of statues all night, there would hardly be any movement at all :forehead::forehead::forehead:

Very nervous about tonight. Would gratefully take a point. Del Boy has got City flying. Maynard gets alot of the headlines but Adomah is their key man during their recent revival.

Pompey's parent company's gone into administration.

If the company that runs the club are forced to follow, there's a nice 10 point deduction for one of our rivals down there with us

Didnt Southampton get stiffed over this as they had transferred the clubs debts to the parent company in a bid to avoid the 10 point deduction?

Portsmouth have not gone in to admin, but I think they will as people are resigning already, and the 10 point deduction may follow when the club go into admin. The FA have said nothing yet,it's a waiting game.

they'll be hoping it's 10 points. i thought if a club enters administration twice within 5 years they get docked 25 points, hence Sh*t Town getting a big points deduction?

Give Garner another go, look at Iwelumo at the beggining of the season no one wanted him to start but hes turned things around, who says that Garner cant do the same thing? I think we might snatch this one 2-1.

Would like to see Garner in instead of Beattie as he compliments Emu well. Points here are vital.

I'm not implying it means we won't score tonight but so far this season for us, our starting eleven has scored 6 goals (with Yeates responsible for 50%)..and a further 2 goals on the bench.

Without Marv, somebody is going to have to step up a gear big time...

Sorry to ask as I normally do, but is there a way I can listen to this game without being in the Watford area? Also I do not have Hornet player or whatever it is called :/

Would have taken a point before the game, but we should have got 3 today

On the plus side, forest are ****e, doncasters magic plan won't work and Pompey could be docked points. Not to mention the other cack such as Millwall, etc etc.

Should be ok this season, tough games coming thick and fast, waiting for the Loach haters ...

    True.

Hopefully Pompey will get a big points deduction, because I think Cov and Donny look doomed as well.

Ok, we've played two teams in the bottom two in the last few days, but Donny away was always going to be a battle as they certainly needed the win more than us! Bristol City are a team very much on the up, but by the sounds of it we've limited probably two of the best players outside the Premiership (Adomah and Maynard) to scraps, and we've shot ourselves in the foot with the equaliser. Even then we went on and almost won the game.

I'm not down about the last two games, a little bit frustrated as we threw that away tonight, but not a disaster. We're certainly turning a corner at the moment, and Ipswich away is extremely winnable as they've lost six in a row now and must be rock bottom in terms of confidence.

We've played most sides now this season and to be honest I don't think we should fear anyone.

Credit to Dyche, he could have stuck with Eustace in midfield and dropped Bauben but it seems he's now finally realised Hogg and Bauben is far more balanced in the middle. He seems to have learnt a lot of lessons recently and he's certainly made us much more solid at the back. Other than the header Elliott scored they didn't really trouble us!

Things are looking ok for us.

I think we might get lucky this season. Unless Donny manage to gel before their loan's expire/before they're down, I think they will struggle to avoid the drop. It isn't nice to wish admin on another club but desperate times n'all. Ipswich are ****e at the moment as are Forest. I think both will up their form. Millwall will struggle, Cov are ****e and even Derby have been kind enough to join us in the scrap. Derby have really dropped off recently.

Good first half but the sucker goal on the stroke of half time killed us off and I am sure despite the horror show from Mariappa and Loach for the goal, city would have equalised.

Hogg was everywhere again today, carrying Prince I thought and Kightly has now got his form and fitness back and will be gracing the Premier League again very soon.

Great first goal for ****o but in all honesty, an agile younger James would have stopped it. The second was an absolute peach of a dipping 30 yarder from Yeates (about the only thing he done to be honest), hit the bar and big beat done well to follow up.

I would have looked at Loach to be at fault for both goals, he could well have come for the cross for their first as it was only 6 yards out, but it did have a fair bit of pace. Not for the first time this season, ****o was static which led to him being out jumped, but I would have liked to see the keeper come out and clear everyone in that situation.

As i said in the other thread, Loach was the major fault for the second definitely but was not helped by Mariappa.

TYO back to the top right of Rookery. Think there is only about 5 or 6 of them now. They don't like Iwelumo, they love the exact same player in Deeney, won't say much more!

I thought the yellow order had finished, wouldnt say its the yellow order, just the usual kids who used to sit there last season.

I have to say a draw was probably fair as although we got 2 decent goals Bristol City looked more lively albeit we gifted them both goals (Loach "cough")

Hogg and Kightly were very good whilst the defence again delt well with Maynard and co.

Pleased for Beattie to get his goal but not very convinced by him.

    Deeney looked lively I though.

2 points thrown away to an extent but not sure we actually would have deserved the win.
