I was just saying £5m is a scandalous amount to be paying Parker. My Fulham supporting mate had told me that’s how much he was on and I didn’t believe it, 5 minutes later and Going Down quoted the exact same amount on here.

I agree with everything you say except the dislike part of it.

He was an unproven coach, with us for only a few months on an exclusive first year contract (Pozzo MO), who was doing extremely well with us, only for all the promise, and whatever honour he was perceived to have had, to mysteriously disappear only for us to find out later that Everton had sabotaged our season, literally, by illegally approaching him to make the generous offer you mention. Silva and Everton were reminded that they were acting in breech of both law and contract, and basically reacted, wilfully, by making Silva’s position at our club intolerable and untenable.

It’s not even an emotional issue. Silva’s behaviour is, contractually and in terms of honour, about as unimpressive, wanton and disreputable as you can get in football. There is no reason to like him, and every reason to dislike him and what he has shown himself to represent, due to the appalling example he made of himself, and he doesn’t even have the charisma or talent to excuse his behaviour as that of some cheeky chappy or precocious talent on their way to the top. Describing him as a snake, in my opinion, is entirely appropriate.

I dislike him very much, because he is a terrible professional, and, as you say, a bang average coach.

Pretty sure that is from Everton away (the 2-2 last minute draw). Remember when Richarlison scored their opening goal he slapped the badge or something. Made a few groan.

If a business wanted to pay me £75k a week, I'd do more to the badge than slap it.

A snake that sheds its skin is still a snake. Surprised he's landed that job tbh. This must be his last chance at a decent level?

Not sure I know the whole story , but from my view he wanted out we said no you have a contract with us, he then seemed to lose interest in doing his job.

I am surprised he has ever managed to get another job

Putting my vitriol aside , he’s failed at every single job he’s had in England . Following same pattern; start off in a blaze of glory ‘ hit a difficult patch , wheels fall off in spectacular fashion, sacked within a season .

Even Boothroyd managed to keep the bluff up for a whole season .

Handed out yet another thrashing today. A stunningly good manager.

I presume you were saying the same when Xisco's sexy 'Orns were sweeping aside the likes of Bristol City and Rotherham?

On course for his usual flying start followed by a flop and mediocrity.

If we Harry Wilson or Mitrovic last season we'd be winning the league by quite a bit too probably.

Or any other half decent team for that matter.

Silva has no excuses not to get them promoted.

Scenes when Fulham piss the league but can't spend the £100m they'd need to compete in the Premier League and then Silva gets the hump

He’s doing precisely what he should be doing with that squad. Once he’s got Fulham up and kept them up let’s talk then.

Why won’t they be able to spend £100m? They’d probably give it to him.

Damn just watching him getting interviewed on bbc1. He looks TERRIBLE! Deathly pale, thin loose skin. Wiry, greying hair.

It's just depressing as hell remembering what a tanned hunk we was when with us.

    Dreadful stuff.

I guess the stress of managing Hull, us, Everton and now Fulham has taken it's toll. He should come back here, working under Gino would push him to his limits no doubt.
