I was thinking of the one hit record achieved by Camden New Romantics Visage , called "We Fade to Gray"

It was just "Fade to Grey", actually. And they did have four other less memorable hits, "Mind of a Toy", "Visage", "Night Train" and "The Damned Don't Cry". Also, I would say Soho rather than Camden, although the late Steve Strange was of course from Swansea.

Sauce: I am a sad git over the age of 50.

Apologies for ignoring vital statistical information whilst in the pursuit of brevity and humour .

BTW I mentioned Camden as he ran the famous Camden Palace nights and lived nearby for a spell . I only know this because my sister in law used to go out with him .

Have I misunderstood this, or are you hinting that Deeney won't be captain going forward?

I dont think he was too fussed either way from what she told me. She went out with BoyGeorge as well, before he went totally gay, but she had to dump him because he hogged the bathroom and stole all her make up.

My son's mate has apparently spoken to Troy Deeney in a petrol station in Leicester, today. Deeney told him he'd spoken to Craig Shakespeare and liked what he had to say

Because if you were going to meet someone to discuss a multi-million pound deal, you'd discuss it with a complete stranger on an Esso forecourt.

My son's mate is adamant he's seen Deeney in Leicester today. So I ask the question. WTF is Deeney doing in Leicester?

I for one really hope we keep Troy.
Can't see him saying great things about the club to get Chalobah to join then leaving but then if Leicester offer him stupid money.......

It's answered three posts before yours. He was talking to Shakespeare. Oh, it was YOU that posted that.

Deeney or not Deeney, that is the question.

Fortunately my son (who's friends mother used to go out with all of Heaven 17, Gary Numan and Sam Fox) bumped into Sergio Aguero at Subway in watford and he said he'd had a good old chat with Gino and things were looking very positive for a £5m deal so I think we are covered. He's not homegrown but hey ho.

I still think Deeney would say nice things about us even if he is going to Lester. All he needs to remember is that he will NEVER EVER be loved by the fans as he is at Watford. COYHS

Shakespeare is a plagiarist, as any fule kno; I wouldn't trust a word that comes out of his mouth. Christopher Marlowe is the secret deal maker at Filbert Street, or whatever poncey name they've given it these days.

I am pretty sure there are no direct descendants of the Bard, so wouldn't credit good 'ole Craig with any literary skills. I'll be happy enough if he stands aside in our pursuit of Ian Nacho if Deeney goes to Lester. I think you'll find Kit Marlowe was either a Kentish man or a Man of Kent and never ventured up the old North Road or Watling Street to the Mid Lands. Even today is it somewhere anyone goes to voluntarily. No wonder Shakespeare left Stratford for the smoke for so many years and only went to retire. Must have been the equivalent of Luton in Tudor times.
