It's a farce. I'm going to drink my body weight in Delirium and hope this all blows over.

    Where's Joka?

I'd love to see someone justify bringing this guy in ahead of Joka

Everyone is allowed an opinion on an appointment and of course most of us will see this one, at best, as underwhelming.

But no point going straight into the attack against him - he could be a roaring success - unlikely, but he could be.

Plus non household names with little to back up their credentials is par for the course so not even remotely a surprise.

Financially, it’d be pretty easy to justify I suspect.

Trust in Gino. Give him a chance. It might work.

Ask any Watford fan who they would prefer and they'd all say Joka. However, he's currently employed at a Qatari club so would probably cost a fair few quid to buy him out of a contract, and it's quite a big assumption that he'd want to come back anyway, after what happened last time.

It's the rank incompetence that gets me. It's embarrassing being a Watford supporter these days. Pozzo has destroyed the credibility of our club. I just shrug and laugh these days.

I don't think you have to be a great manager to get a team out of this division especially with our quality or rather the lack of quality in other teams, but this lad has managed a handful of game in ******* Georgia and hasn't even got his coaching qualifications.

And his agent probably isn’t one that Gino prefers to deal with. That’s the key to any deal here.

Just seen that Oscar Garcia is out of work. Could we be seeing Garcia 2.0? Did a decent job with Brighton and seem to remember being quite optimistic

Whilst I hate the idea of his appointment And agree he’s done nothing worthy of getting the job, I think concerns over his coaching ‘qualifications’ are bit misleading. He’s got his badges to work at our level. And will no doubt be working on the next stage so he can coach wherever. That’s quite normal. Plenty of managers have done the same.

The biggest concern is that he’s completely inexperienced in all senses of the word.

A decent youtube clip of his goals, so it appears he was a proper striker. Perhaps he can get a tune out of our stinking forward line?

    My brother's in hospital,hopefully just a fall.
Arthur just walked all over the exterior and interior of my just washed car with muddy paws and now THIS!
COME ON Gino, just stop doing this.

In fairness, I remember a fair amount of outcry when we hired Joka. Hadn’t he been managing in East Asia, and the lower Spanish leagues?

At least he’d played in England before though...and managed far more than 11 games. One of which was a 6-1 hammering against a team from Iceland....bodes well.

There’s just no pedigree at all on this guys coaching CV.

No idea what people were expecting ? It was always going to be an experienced out of work British manager with a poor recent CV or an inexperienced guy from overseas. Our history, set-up and current financial situation will mean we aren't going to be attractive to any established decent managers. It's underwhelming but it was always going to be underwhelming. Anyone who was dreaming of Howe or Bilic needs their heads examining.
