Bournemouth's luck is unbelievable.

The thing about luck is that it often runs out at the worst times, because you can't be lucky every week.

bmuff played well, seems as though Fulham have slide backwards again! But muffs chanting was deluded, maybe true for now, top of the league, but it seems like a curse to brag that especially with still 10 games to go in the tightest league for years!

Not gonna big up the Muff too much tonight after their victory, i'll just leave that to the media who seem to drool all over them every time they pick up a victory. BUT dear me Fulham were absolutely atrocious!!

In this instance no it probably didnt have much of an effect. How many games has a sending off or dubious decision had an effect on. Its been said that their style of play causes such decisions, but I dare say that no other team in the top six has had such ludicrous "luck" I dont buy the whole conspiracy idea but the way they win games is not how I would like my team to play!

 

Bournemouth seem to be media darlings. Amazing how much sky seem to love them!

Me too, they're not very likeable. Callum Wilson literally just falls over and wins fouls, their fans are insufferable and they seem to be the media darlings for no apparent reason.

And now, potentially, we have to score 1 more goal than we would have, debatably due to another decision in Bournemouth's favour.

 

I would quite like Boro and us for the top two. Decent manager, solid defence, good side. Ipswich very very hoof but a likeable manager. Brentford quite likeable, as are Derby. But bleeding Bournemouth can do one. How on gods green earth did they get their happy underdog status. They cheat, they decieve, they manipulate referees to a ridiculous level, and somehow their the leagues happy little underdogs. Spare me this crap sky!

 

Sky are already invested into their version of events at this point. The narrative is set and they're not going to change it now.

 

Where do we fit into this narrative. I guess even if we win the league we dont quite fit the sky image like Bournemouth do. Maybe people who follow the premier league think of Bournemouth as their championship side. I doubt many think of us as the same?

 

English manager, 'underdogs', 'historic team', 'journey from the bottom to the top', 'English players'.

All things loved in the Championship but will be laughed at and mocked in the Premier League if they unfortunately make it.

The Sky commentator was particularly annoyingly Bournemouth-biased in his in-match comments.

But saying that, their stats for the game were mightily impressive, even before the sending off.

Fulham were woeful aside form 10 minutes at the start of the second half though. A shame as this was definitely a game I saw them dropping more points in.
