Let’s gloss over the fact he’d walk into our defence though...

Yes. I like all referees who are competent and fair minded.

If the Premier League was flooded with officials of the quality of Dean, Atkinson and Mariner, then there’d be no issues at all. Unfortunately that’s not the case.

He does. They just change like the wind...they are all a matter of a ‘mistake against Watford’ from being terrible. ;)

    Thank you Hb.
Unfortunately her diagnosis is very bad.We await the breast team for a biopsy, hopefully today.
Yes I think,a bit like other football clubs,I have varying degrees of dislike for most other tennis clubs.I have one or two exceptions, notably W Herts.

Unfortunately WE don't decide. Our defence vs Aubang and Lacaz will decide. :-( :-( :-( :-(

Yes. He's **** but he's better than what we have and at the pricey sum of £8m, way out of our price range for a defender.

To be honest, if they have the same bite as our toothless (the dogs' home removed almost all of his teeth as they were rotten), elderly (10), sedated (no, but probably should be), demented (definitely on occasions) chihuahua, I'd be happy. We've only had him a few months and he's already drawn blood from my husband 4 times, including a particularly attractive bite to the upper lip...

I'd put some Watford paraphernalia on him but I value my limbs too much, so he makes do with the yellow and black collar he got from the Dogs Trust.

Shows how useless he is really. There is a chink of hope though. He loves Spurs, for whatever reason, so if it's deep rooted then he could go against Arsenal, but then that will conflict with his top 6 bias. So, Sunday will be a real dilemma for Anthony Taylor. Divided loyalties and it'll interesting which way he goes.

Taylor comes from Wythenshawe, which is just 6 miles from Old Trafford, yet he is listed a supporting Altringham...….yeah right.

I just hope QSF starts with some pace in the team. Sarr is a must. Aubameyang offers no defensive cover at all too kolasinac. Who quite frankly just bombs on. Luiz and the bubble are not the quickest. I don't even know who plays RB for the Gooners.
He could even go 4-5-1 if we have Sarr and Deulofeu starting. Welbeck is a must. He must know every weakness they have defensively. Can read the headlines with Danny scoring the winner.

4 at the back. Pick your 4. I suspect it will be Janmaat, Dawson, Kabasele and Holebas.

    Capoue and Doucoure

    Hughes

    Sarr Deulofeu Pereyra

Arsenal's center can be got at and we're not comfortable playing with a lot of width (although hopefully with Sarr that will change).

Welbeck is the first attacking option off of the bench, followed by Gray. Third sub based on game conditions possibly injuries of course.

Doubt Pereyra will start. Only got back to training today - not sure how compatible that will be with a new manager in his first week.

I’m really not sure that Holebas won’t be frozen out again. QSF said earlier this week that there’s no problem - he last managed him 3 years ago and players can change in that time. I really don’t think Holebas has changed much from when QSF didn’t like him before.

I expect Masina might finally get his run in the team. Foulquier shouldn’t be ruled out either having played for Getafe - given QSF is a former manager there, I imagine he may have seen some of him last season.

OK. Just the 3 goals then :)
ps I agree I doubt Pereyra will play. Think he may be seen as a luxury we can't afford in the next 2 games. Think it will be one pacey wideman and one more central so 2 out of Sarr/GD/Gray/Welbeck with 2 out of Hughes/Cleverley /Chalo starting.

Agreed with the first bit. Not the second. I don’t care if our defenders are paid with magic beans or nothing at all - not good enough.

You could easily be right on Pereyra, but QSF likes players that can complete a pass or create off the dribble. Pereyra is one of those. I think Holebas was moaning and not doing as he was told by Gracia, hence he sat. I think that was likely QSFs problem with him as well, but QSF knows he's our best option. I think Holebas will have been a good boy at training this week and QSF will play him in the hopes of avoiding a malcontent in the dressing room. WHther he keeps on starting is another story.

Holebas had the cob on the first year because Roma had sold him and cleared out his locker without once speaking to him. I doubt anyone could have managed him.
