Agreed. One post-breakfast but pre-shower dump a day is all that's required.
Not as inflexible as that may seem, as timing could range anywhere between 7.15am right the way up to 7.30 am.

You have breakfast before 7:15 am?

Alarm goes off at 6.30am during the week. My body can't distinguish weekday vs weekend so i just roll with it and it makes the weekend last longer !
Any unavoidable early work zoom calls require "mute" and "video off" during 7.15 - 7.30. I'm not an idiot ;-)

Since the kids have been home schooling it's been nice to get up at 8:15 on a weekday, next week back to normal of about 7:15.

    Yes, I take that point.

Running away like a skittish pre-pubescent girl is a bit pathetic though.

I didn't, but my skittish, pre-pubescent daughters are wont to do so. Especially when it's a bull terrier of some kind.

Movies with titles as sayings like:

She's Just Not That Into You
    Just Go With It
    It's About Time
    That Awkward Moment

Mainly rom-coms and I can honestly say I've never watched any mainly because of the title. It bothers me in a completely irrational way.

With my partner working from home she’s getting through loads of this type of film. She sticks them on the background while she stares at her laptop and I’m genuinely worried they’re rotting her brain.

If I walk into the room while she’s got one on I try to guess the name of the film, it’s pretty fun.

    One’s I’ve just made up;

    Oh no she didn’t!
    The most unlikely place
    He we go again
    Blessings and Romance
Winter’s love (main character is called Winter)
    Cedar Lane
    The sweetest year
    Sleighbell kisses

Films genuinely in the ‘watch again’ section on Netflix

    Always be my maybe
    Too hot to handle
    The kissing booth 2 (2?!)
    Love is blind
    Just go with it
    Virgin river
    Home for Christmas
    Life as we know it
    Sweet magnolias

They absolute turd, but if they're Christmas themed, I find I can watch them in December without actually getting angry. It's weird.

"Oh no she didn't" made me LOL. That could genuinely be a romcom title.

The Sweetest Year though.. was anyone else on the edge of their seat towards the end?

That twist as well! Why couldn't Janie see that Cal was the one for her until it was too late? Why did it take a brain hemmorage after he hit his head on the railings when performing his "I love you " dance with his dance troupe for her to realise that he really did love her?

Oh No She Didn’t definitely has Queen Latifa and Chris Rock in.

Winter’s Love and Cedar Lane are a bit more thoughtful. Maybe starring Bradley Cooper and Saoirse Ronan.

Here We Go Again features an awful couple living in a massive house in Florida suburbia who’ve just had their third set of triplets.

Got into a new 2 year contract with them 2 months ago where all 5 of our family mobiles are covered for a very good price. Just got a letter telling me the price is rising. It won't be, trust me.

Kevin Bacon and the smug smarminess of their campaigns. Makes it hard to watch Tremors and She's Having A Baby again. I have watched some documentaries on Channel 5 and Blaze. In both cases the programmes could have been condensed to half an hour given the number of advertising breaks and as for the ones on Blaze attempting to pass as documentaries I have rarely watched such ill researched programmes, lack of factual accuracy and outright lies.

Just shows what happens when commercial broadcasters get hold of what used to be respectable channels like The History Channel and Discovery to chase ratings. Thank goodness for the BBC.

The media when they’re at peak hullabaloo getting so deep into a nonsense story that a poor dead woman is left to stare out hauntingly at everyone from somewhere around Page 25. It was unfortunately quite obvious what had happened but I bet her killer actually thought he’d get away with it these last couple of days as the profile of her disappearance remained shockingly low thanks to the royal family drivel. Of course now the media will be all over it, hounding her family and whipping it up.

It’s been the lead story on both the Guardian and BBC websites all day today, and was the lead item on the radio news that I listened to this morning.

Do disappearances generally get really high media profile? They happen pretty regularly.

Of course it has been today. And yes, I think in this instance it was obviously out of the norm from the outset and it’d have been front page news a couple of days ago but for the big distraction. The parallel is probably the Joanna Yates disappearance, which was big for days before she was found...although the media ballsed that up too!

It’s a heartbreaking story. Your heart always hopes there might be a happy ending in these cases, even when your head tells you all the evidence points to otherwise. One thing that I found interesting was that it seems that detectives were able to narrow down where this poor woman was abducted pretty quickly thanks to evidence from doorbell cameras. I know cases such as this are rare but hopefully the proliferation now of cameras such as these, as well as dash cams and CCTV, might make them rarer still - and much less likely for the perpetrator to get away with it.

I’m afraid I take a rather more negative view. Both Jo Yates and Sarah Everard are/were attractive, young, blonde women and it seems to me that this factor is actually fuelling media interest. If a 30 year old bloke had disappeared, woulld it get this much coverage? (Admittedly now it would, with the involvement of the Met officer).
