    Have to remain focused on doing our job. Grind out results and avoid injuries. Fingers crossed both Brentford and Swansea have hit the buffers given their smaller squads. And hope Norwich do slip up. We have to make sure we do not slip up ie home against Wycombe and Brum when it will be a 10-0-0 formation and beat these three teams and Reading. Automatic promotion would still be very much in our hands. Swansea should have been beaten handily by Forest.

    Jordan Morris came on at the half for Swansea and he has already been stretchered off with what looks at first glance (apparently) like a very bad injury - the squad, and their attacking options, get smaller still...

    As we know the championship is a marathon, you can't win promotion in the first half of the season (you can certainly be well out of the running though), see 2000/01 & 2007/8 but a great run in the second half will see you through, 1999 and 2015 spring to mind. Ivic may have been boring but we had a solid base of points to build on.

    Seems reasonable from the government. While players at the top are still getting obscene deals it makes sense for Chump clubs to tighten their belts. Players and agents need to realize that the gravy train below the PL is coming to an end with a tighter fiscal future in place for everyone in the short to mid term.
