There was no such artist as 'Flat Eric'... I presume Mr Oizo is the artist you're trying to get at? I think it's a tad unfair to classify him as a one-hit wonder as he still produced quite a lot of successful underground dance tracks for the labels Ed Banger and F Communications; it was more a rare occurrence that such a purely instrumental electronic track as 'Flat Beat' became so widespread to begin with. He had a track a few years ago with Charli XCX that did quite well also.
It was round about the time he had that season as first choice left back at Oldham and had a walk on part in that Tom Cruise movie.

(C) Jilted John is John Shulltleworth (Graham Fellows) of R4 fame. Literally you can claim that one but it is all part of a broader “comedy persona”.
