The Silva thread on the Grand Old Team forum now has 915 pages and 13,714 replies. We've got a lot to learn.

1 goal, 1 assist in last 8 matches.

Support cast rather £40m leading man performance.

It’s too cold for Richy his nipples have shrunk further and he has gone into hibernation.

If I was pozzo I’d have that that £40,000,000 converted into pound coins put in a silo and jump in like Scrooge mcduck flicking middle fingers and tweet it to moshiri

“He thinks he's something special. He's one of the worst, or probably THE worst, Everton managers I have ever seen.“

“Also got a positive-talking and very likeable manager. Silva always seems like he's sat sulking on the sidelines feeling sorry for himself, kinda disconcerting at times how he looks like a lost child”

“Also, just realised, we're yet to come from behind and win a game this season under Silva if I'm not mistaken? There seems to be a clear lack of Plan B for when things aren't going our way. This needs to change.”

“The only attraction of Silva was to [Poor language removed] them bitchy Watford fans and the 'we are the mighty everton and we'll take your manager' trip that we all were on. Them petty things seemed fun enough to not look at it critically ... and just now we are all going 'wait why did we get him for, he's done nothing in the game'.

Not all of us but a lot of us deserve this.“

One of them gets it and has the good grace to admit it

The guy effectively has now managed 3 teams in the same way in the Premier. Play a high pressing game. Start well. Get immediate results. Burn out the players though due to the pressing but not drop them even though out of form as the squad isn't big enough to rotate and rest players. Keep giving away soft goals and not have a Plan B. Sulk in silence on the touchline during games. Start commenting about lack of transfers to the press. Board realise he's a snake. Board boot him out when they realise he's a fraud. Silva collects a lovely pay off and a bigger watch. Everton fans expect Mourinho. They get Moyes.

It's hilarious how it all turned out - but it proves that Silva didn't 'down tools' - he is just monumentally sh!t.

I'm not sure how this revelation affects any ongoing legal tussles with Everton,

The trend from last season appears to be repeating for both Richarlison and Silva. They are good for the early part of a season, when the sun shines and there is promise of something good in the air.

Once the reality kicks in and the cold weather arrives, they both go missing.

Silva has been found out and it's inevitable that he will not last very long at Everton. Results have been poor for a long time now, and if he doesn't get any new signings, then there is very little chance things will improve.

Where Silva is unbelievably strong is in convincing people he's a top manager. Even former players think this of him. It's as if he's a master hypnotist, but there comes a time when he has to be judged on his results.

No matter what the arrogant Everton fans say, there was no reason for Watford's form to fall away so spectacularly. Look at us now, we are 7th and are consistent, without Richarlison, who was supposed to be our best player. What's Everton's excuse?

They have spent millions on their squad yet they are woeful. They should be well clear in 7th, not down in 11th on 30 points.

Some are saying he's only got until Millwall in the FA Cup next week. Lose that and he's a gonna. Personally I think he'll be given more time, but there are plenty of Everton fans that want him out now and the feeling is growing after every defeat.

I have to say, it's marvellous seeing it all implode as it is. Silva is clearly NOT the next best thing. He's ok with some good ideas but he's not the complete package by any stretch. He's done remarkably well in convincing people he's better than he is and that is his strength, but when that illusion clears, you are left with very little substance.

Javi Gracia is the complete opposite. Most fans thought he looked like a duck out of water coming to the Premier League, yet this guy is full of substance. He does not promote himself in any way, and is the definition of humble. He does his talking on the pitch. You judge him on his actions, not his flashy watch.

I just have a gut feeling that yesterday's performance was the natural balance for sticking 6 past Everton next month. And hopefully one of them is a Richarlison O.G.

Over the last 8 games, Richarlison's key stats are worse than those of Ken Sema.

I can see it now: Silva sacked immediately following a heavy defeat at former club Watford.

That's if he lasts another 3 weeks.

He will last, have faith. They won’t sack him unless they get near relegation, which they won’t

Everton vs Millwall on Saturday in the FA Cup. Guess who I do set-piece analysis for now? Hoping they listen to what I've recommended on behalf of all Watford fans.

Everton's remaining home matches this season....wow.

    Wolves (H)
    Man City (H)
    Liverpool (H)
    Chelsea (H)
    Arsenal (H)
    Man Utd (H)
    Burnley (H)

If you look at that, then factor in how crap they are on the road, I can't see them picking up too many points this season!!

When I mentioned to Cal the Evertonian hockey coach about some of the opinions we've seen on here from Toffees about Silva and Richarlison she remarked:

    ...farking zonal farking marking...

From what I remembered that used to be our mantra when discussing Mazzari.

I don't see what was wrong with our tweet. What a wimp! He criticised our club and our response was mild, to say the least.

If the club's post is disrespectful to Silva, how was Lineker's post not disrespectful to the club and Gino? Hypocrite.

The club doesn't owe Silva any respect. He treated it appallingly with his behavior and people would do well to remember the club was the victim.

EDIT: surprisingly, most of the comments on those articles are eviscerating Lineker and supporting us. Looks like he's scored a massive own goal here.

I disagree ZZ. It may well have been the same person who thought it a good idea to play the DEENEY!! goal just before we played Leicester, (and then got soundly beaten). We have enough people out there not wanting us in this division without being d*cks about the fact we kept a manager for 365 days. I fully expect results to fall through the floor.
